Active Duty ping.
So glad to hear no injuries. Was there any risk Guam might have tipped over? /s
Old Hank would have been pleased.
Hmmmmm, wondering if there was a stewardess in the right seat as was the case of a weather squadron C-130 that went off the end of the rock in about 1974?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......... What I wonder is what was in the plane CARGO that caused them to “ mitigate possible unspecified environmental effects” ???
Did not a B-2 crash there a while back due to mold screwing up something in the flight control electronics? Tropics do cause issues not seen elsewhere.
It’s way past time we let the Russians and Chinese know that we rule the skies. A Russian bomber circling Guam, don’t think so. Entities flying drones over our ships, get real. Chinese bumping our planes in the Pacific, nuclear war. It’s time to establish who we are, the masters of the sky, ever since the Wright brothers.
How many active B52s are left?
Inventory: active force, 58; ANG, 0; Reserve, 18
Now 57.
Let's see, Kate Pierson, Fred Schneider, Cindy Wilson...
1 less active B-52 than before. :D (sorry. could not resist).
Time to pull another B 52H out of the stack at Davis Monthan.

We need to build more BUFFs....Especially at 1950’s prices.
LOL!!
Having spent 15 or so years in SAC, even if I knew I’d have to “neither confirm nor deny’ anything it may have been carrying. On the other hand, I’m sure the fuel tanks were full if it in fact crashed on take-off. If it didn’t burn when it dropped, there’s probably enough JP-8 laying on the coral base to drive the EPA crazy.
I wuz hoping for a glassification device targeting Mecca...Or Qom...
I’m going to make a very well educated guess
here, that you have no knowledge and/or experience on this topic.
I’m curious as to why you posted what you did.
Maybe you should keep up with current events instead of wondering why an aerospace designer with 2 dozen aircraft designs under my belt leaves a comment.
“How many active B52s are left?”
One less than this morning.
