Donald Trump met Henry Kissinger, the former secretary of state and long-time foreign policy guru on Wednesday.

Mr Kissinger is the latest in a string of policy experts sought out by Mr Trump as he looks to reassure the Republican establishment that he is not, as Hillary Clinton has described him, a "loose cannon".

Mr Trump's "America First" foreign policy aligns in part with Mr Kissinger's realist approach, with both men emphasising US self-interest in dealings with other countries.

If Trump moves forward on his changes in trade policy with China then HK could be useful ... Also HK calming reported “ concerns” by China with Trump presidency

The way China is again playing reckless provocative military games in response to our reckless provocative military games, we could end up in another crisis similar to what Bush 43 inherited from Clinton

he recognized that China needed to be opened, and did.

by courting China and chinese hegemony, Kissinger effectively ended the Soviet exercise in Viet Nam

Everything Kissinger has touched has turned to crap. I'd talk to him to use as a negative barometer of what not to do.

What utter nonsense. Kissinger spearheaded the first outsourcing of American jobs to China in the 1970s. He is a despicable, traitorous, NWO agent who does not give a damn about American interests.

It is my understanding that most presumptive nominees, some even from the democrat side, visit Kissinger. It’s part of the protocol and not exclusive to Trump. (heard that on one of the cable news channels).

Kissinger has experience but in his career what has he actually accomplished?

He is very accomplished at getting invited as a talking head on thousands of broadcasts for many decades after accomplishing virtually nothing under Nixon.

That’s his real skill, bamboozling journalists.

Kissinger is not a foreign policy guru now he’s, he’s a representative of China.

Donald Trump Says "China"

I once golfed naked with Kissinger (I’m serious).

How big are his hands?

"Old China hand" George Herbert Walker Bush is not likely to be, that's for sure.

I don’t know about any conspiracy tales of Trump and Hillary heading to Area 51 but I had heard that Wonder Woman secretly married Howard Hughes and after she became a widow then secretly remarried, this time to Henry Kissinger, and she’s Wonder Hughes-Kissinger now.

The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer. [The New World Order] cannot happen without U.S. participation, as we are the most significant single component. Yes, there will be a New World Order, and it will force the United States to change it’s perceptions. “

Kissinger is beyond those classifications. I recommend his latest book if you want to understand the last 50 years of US foreign policy.
