Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau is in big trouble after he appeared to elbow a female member of parliament in the chest and “manhandle” several others during a testy conflagration in the Canadian House of Commons.
“What kind of man elbows a woman? It’s pathetic!” one Canadian lawmaker can be heard yelling at the baby-faced prime minister.
Many were outraged at Trudeau’s actions, which were described by another MP as a “physical molestation.”
I have never seen a display of bully behaviour by a Canadian politician let alone a Prime Minister as I witnessed just now in the Chamber.
Ruth Ellen Brosseau, the politician on the receiving end of Trudeau’s elbow, was so upset she had to leave chamber, and demanded that Trudeau “apologize unreservedly.”
Brosseau’s colleague, Niki Ashton, said she was “ashamed” to witness the “deeply traumatic” incident, using language most American college students would find familiar.
“What I will say, if we apply a gendered lens, it is very important that young women in this space feel safe to come here and work here,” Ashton said. “[Trudeau] made us feel unsafe and we’re deeply troubled by the conduct of the prime minister of this country.”
Trudeau later apologized, for taking an “unadvisable…course of action [that] resulted in physical contact.”
The 44-year-old prime minister and self-professed feminist and trained boxer has become an object of lusty affection to American liberals who wish Barack Obama could run again and are tired of pretending to be excited about Hillary Clinton.
Total BS. I don’t like the guy, but she was in the crowd and as he reached in to pull a guy out, he barely touched her. And of course, the drama queen chick acts like she was assaulted.
Typical, they can do anything and dice right into the scuffle. But god forbid anybody bumps into them. This is gay.
Go after him for proper reasons.
Silly, it’s clear from the video that he didn’t even know she was there. Have you ever been bumped into in a crowd? That’s all this was.
Confused. Men and women are no longer different. So why does the story mention that he elbowed a woman? Didn’t he instead elbow a human of unknown sex?
Some people are making WAY TOO MUCH about this. He didn’t deliberately elbow the woman. It’s as if some people at FR have lost all ability to reason.

Yes , Accidents happen. But you are still responsible for what happened. Accident or not. Shoot a gun into the air and the bullet comes down and kills someone. Maybe an accident but guess what, it was your fault! Can’t defend this liberal POS.

I was thinking the same thing. The genders are equal right? Then there shouldn’t be a problem if the Prime Minister elbows men that he should elbow women! You don’t hear men whine about having a safe environment, so if women do, that would be unequal behavior!
So accidentally elbowing a person in a crowd is the same as shooting a gun in the air? Got it.
I had to watch it three times to even see that he touched her. This wasn’t a big deal.

Really? You might then want to ask yourself why Trudeau has apologized not once or twice, but three times for his behaviour.
Now a body check is perfectly legal, but an elbow gets you 2 minutes in the penalty box.
And honestly we are not talking about street fighters here. We are talking about pansy assed politicians doing a little shove. How many times have we seen grown women shoving a man around, mich less slap a guy? They know they are not supposed to get physical yet they get away with it and scream bloody murder if they get some back. Like this particular instance.

Nobody expects absolute good manners at a sporting event-I wear jeans and a shirt to basketball games because I don’t want my nice clothes splattered with beer when we all jump up and cheer when our team scores-but I expect best behavior from a PM at a hockey game or any other venue-he is just impolite and inconsiderate...
There isn’t any excuse for shoving or slapping someone unless you want to start an altercation-I don’t care if you are a man or a woman-if that happens to me, I don’t bother with screaming to anyone-people who shove, etc in public need an ass kicking to teach them to be more careful...
This isn’t about a woman pushing/slapping anyone around. Trudeau ordered the MPs to “Get the f**k out of my way “ , then grabbed Conservative Whip Brown’s arm, ( Brown reacted by telling Trudeau “to get your hand off me”, and Trudeau elbowing MP Brosseau in the breast. Ask any woman how that feels ,

“ I should not have made physical contact with (Brown) and I apologize “ . “I would like to directly apologize to (Brosseau). In my haste I did not pay attention to my surroundings and made physical contact with (Brosseau):”
