Corker is a joke. Trump’s supporters clearly expect and deserve to have someone on the ticket who is going to be a change agent, not someone who personifies the status quo.

Geez people. Read the article. Nowhere does it say Trump is considering him. It says Republicans see him as a potential VP, not Trump. Never Trump, FReepers are so reactionary at times.
If an article from the left wing media said Trump gets 50% of his oxygen from his left nostril, that would be enough for them not to vote for him.

So have your meeting with Corker, Mr. Trump. Just DON’T choose him as your running mate. This is the senator who accomplished so much in the TTP and TPA bill which you purport to dislike so much. Remember, the bill which drained AMERICA dry for generations to come. Advice to you is walk on by, while attending this meeting, moving on to other possibilities. VET THIS MAN THOROUGHLY!! It is a NOTHING story. The headline is made up crap. No quotes from Trump, direct or paraphrased. Trump wants someone who could be pres and shares his views.

The convention is July 18–21. Trump is a reality TV star. Surely, he wouldn't broadcast the last episode of the season 8 weeks before the end of the season. Who would watch the last 8 weeks?
Trump should meet with anyone who is a plausible (or implausible) candidate to encourage speculation!
