I wish a caller would get through who would ask Rush his response to Trump’s specific platform items. What does he think of the wall, of free trade renegotiations, of building up the military? Pin him down.
Anyhoo, I believe Rush is going to continue being a spoil sport and a party pooper and an occasional sniper. No fun to be had with him on the campaign trail.
I expect the same even if Trump is elected. Have to look elsewhere for inspiration and support.

What was his answer? I bailed a while back as he kept blabbering on about Baltimore.
He’s sitting out the election, that’s what I’ve thought for a long time.
Rightly or wrongly, many people believe that if you don't vote, then you forfeit your right to complain about it later. If Rush thinks he can sit out the most consequential election in our lifetime (restoring the Obama "transformation") and still maintain a moral authority to comment on it later, he will be surprisingly rebuked.
I hope he doesn't become one of those whom he just spoke of that are afraid of losing it all.

I think he’s under the sway of his religious brother - after all, Trump is a three time married guy!
