Moody's Analytics has released its election model and is predicting that Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States.

Moody's Analytics has correctly predicted the winner of the presidency since 1980, basing its predictions on a two-year change in economic data in home prices, income growth, and gasoline prices, according to an NPR report.

Moody's analyst, Dan White, said that those three things affect a person's daily life the most.

"Things that affect marginal voter behavior most significantly are things that the average American is going to run into on an almost daily basis," White said.

The Moody's analyst told NPR that a decline in gas prices points to a win for the incumbent Democratic Party.

Cheat the vote; that’s the only way Clinton wins.

Let’s hope this is the first time they’re wrong in 36 years.

Based on the massive voter fraud on the left... hillary winning is very possible.

If you look at it that way it’s worse odds than Hillary winning her 6 in a row coin tosses.

No.
American voters are really that stupid.
Remember, nearly half of them are not paying income taxes. They don’t have skin in the game - they want Free Stuff, and Hillary! is promising more than Donald.

“Let’s hope this is the first time they’re wrong in 36 years.”

Their model assumes the normal republican candidate.

Gas prices were pretty low in 2008.

I see 1980 all over again as in landslide.

I agree with them.

Of course, there’s always the chance events in the few months may change the outcome.

Trump has an uphill task ahead of him.

Honestly, I have long felt that the 2016 and 2020 elections strongly favor the democrats.

In fact, I think we’re in the early period of an enduring liberal ascendancy and dominance that will only end when there’s no choice.

One reason I support Trump is that he mixes things up and changes the questions as the liberals have all their answers prepared. And he is likely to attack strongly (win or lose, I think there’s a value in that in itself).

Wait and see.

He’s basing it largely on gas prices. I don’t think most people vote based on gas prices. Polls show that the biggest concerns are the economy and security, both of which Trump leads Clinton by double digits.

I’d like to see who Moody’s predicted would be the republican nominee, I’m betting they didn’t predict Trump. If that is so, then there prediction about the election isn’t sound either.

If I’m not mistaken this is the same outfit who predicted that Bernie Sanders would win. I remember them saying that they had not been wrong for x number of years. I don’t think a lot of people realize that Americans are angry about a whole lot more than high gas prices. There are massive numbers of folks who have taken a “beat-down” in so many areas in regards to security, immigration, social issues, and economy, it’s not likely they are focused on high gas prices. Shared bathrooms might carry more weight to the anger.
