Judging from the flak I’ve received here for promoting Newt these last 2 weeks, the only objectors are hard core Trump supporters.
This tells me Newt broadens the base.
We need a VP who can add to the election numbers, preferably in areas of weakness. Newt wouldn’t do that. I’m a massive Newt fan, but the VP office is still a pitcher of warm spit.

Thank you for forwarding. This is not a political selection for high school class VP. This is a necessary balance to the ticket. Trump listens. It comes out over and over. His Bravado is total show. He loves his country and he, like you and me , wants his country back. To do that , in reality, he must navigate the Washington and constitutional system. The Best in history at that was Newt. Clinton fell in line with Newt. The reason for that was Newt was right!! He understood the people wanted a CONTRACT!! a NO ,RUN TO THE HILLS, CONTRACT. We need Newt to navigate TRUMP!! Go TRUMP— Build that damned wall— I want to go there on this side!!~
I would like it to be Newt, but I intend to back anyone Trump chooses.

The next biggest faction is really a very small faction. That’s not a valid reason for putting him on the ticket.
Using that logic, Bernie would be better, he brings half the democrats.
