Meet the Republican Traitors Who Sacrificed Women’s Privacy by Supporting Obama’s Transgender Edicts
National Review ^ | May 27, 2016 | Maggie Gallagher

Posted on 05/27/2016 6:09:43 PM PDT by huldah1776

Will these social-conservative turncoats face real political consequences? I was up in the wee hours after midnight Thursday when Daniel Horowitz’s tweet crossed my radar: The GOP-controlled House had just voted in the dead of night to write into law Obama’s executive order banning federal contractors who “discriminate” against transgendered individuals. We all know now what that means: If you refuse to let anatomical males into your women’s dressing rooms, locker rooms, or bathrooms, you are just a bigoted hater, end of story. Just ask Representative Zoe Lofgren (D., Calif.), who descended, Trumplike, to insults when challenged by a witness. “You’re a bigot, lady,” she said, wagging her finger disapprovingly at Gail Heriot, who is a law professor and member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.

There is a rarely a shortage of Republican traitors. Usually they’re in charge of the party.

Trump scares them.

I’m in Hurd’s district. He should have never been the 2014 nominee. Should I just skip it? I had hoped to vote straight Republican, as that is much easier in dealing with the machine. Hurd has also vote for huge budgets. His is the only competitive district in TX.

Ros-Lehtinen

This is the one who replaced Claude "Red" Pepper in 1989 special election. I don't think she's much better than the late Pepper, who did defend Social Security.

Will call Jolly and Diaz-Balart offices on Monday to ask for explanation and how they plan to protect the rights of children who are not transgendered. The world has gone mad.

OK I did a little research here and am not surprised to find Gallagher has not portrayed the situation accurately.

The executive order in question is one from 2 years ago, not the recent transvestites-in-the-bathrooms flap. Furthermore, it applies only to the spending of federal funds - if you’re not on the federal teat, it doesn’t apply to you. The executive order in question also contains a religious exemption.

As there is neither a legal nor scientific definition of what exactly “gender identity” means, the legal import of this is dubious at best.

Verdict: clickbait hysteria.

Right, Hurd. He’s a groveler. Who knows what he really did with the CIA? Outreach to Muslims. Hmm.

As far as I know Hurd is not married to a female, nor does he have a female girlfriend...

In his victory party photos only a male was hugging him.

...

The party money put him into office and he has followed the Speakership Line. Against our interests.

Question is:

Will the party and the nominee take a stand on this at and after the convention?

Despicable. If the Republican Party officially endorses this rubbish I am done with them.

I would like to see an organized campaign to remove every one of these “men” from office.

It’s baffling how any conservative can see a difference between Republicans and Democrats. Equally inexplicable are the conservatives who think the Republican party is in some magical way more conservative than the Democrat party.

If you nearly drove off the road when finding out I’d hate to see what you’ll do when you see the Ros-Lehtinen family’s public service announcement that introduces their daughter Amanda now as their son Rodrigo. Just when you think you’ve seen it all.....

++++++Obama’s executive order banning federal contractors who “discriminate” against transgendered individuals. ++++++

So has there been any specifics on what a ‘federal contractor’ is to determine just what businesses or entities are affected ?

LOL! Trump is firmly embedded in everyone's mind these days.
