Darn that Trump, there he goes telling the truth, again.

When will he ever stop?

The environmentalist agenda is not the environment . It is the destruction and takeover of our country to install a communist central policy command that takes every thing you have and every freedom you have.

Well I had my issues with Trump, still do. But if he keeps doing things like this I have no problem jumping on the bandwagon.

This is an Obama instigated drought that the California leftists are happy to oblige. Part of the Marxist paradigm to destroy capitalist wealth.

A “politician” telling the people the truth!! What a delightful concept!! Hopefully, President Trump will embolden most-if not all-public servants to emulate his sterling example!!

I just hope it’s not too late. So many family produce farms in the Central Valley have been gutted by liberal politicians.

I am so glad to see Trump take up this issue.

Without most Americans realizing it we have become a communists like Country for many years. King Obama just put the nail in the coffin.

Trump speaks he truth and this so called water shortage is the communists liberal control that has taken over California. This State had the funds to built more reservoirs and did not. As President, Trump must order California to open up the water supply. This will seem like unconstitutional, but the communists empire of hurting its citizens must stop. Tell me a better way.

Trump for President.

Politically influential rural water districts and well-off corporate farmers in and around California’s Central Valley have been pushing back against longstanding federal laws protecting endangered fish and other species, saying federal efforts to make sure endangered native fish have enough water is short-changing farmers of the water they want and need for crops.

One of thousands of examples of citizens being ruled over by federal bureaucracies. Our founding fathers were clear that only laws passed by congress (if they pass the 10th Amendment test) are to be state issues. These federal bureaucracies filled with unelected officials are passing laws, it is a huge (yuge) problem.

As is so often the case, Trump undermines a legitimate point with an illegitimate one. There IS (or has been) a drought, and there HAS been mismanagement of the available water supply and failure to construct a better water distribution system, desalinization plants, etc. But all you’ll see in the news is the wrong half of his comments.

I was out in San Diego and if there was a drought I sure didn’t see it. It was the greenest I’ve ever seen it and it rained half the week. The only thing that there is a drought of in California is commonsense.

This might be the most productive valley on the planet, yet it is vulnerable to water availability.

We need to shift our infrastructure to capture and transport the water if necessary. The drought may be the new normal, but it is always raining somewhere. Transport and store is the the solution.

Billions are produced here, much of which is exported.

That said: the Democrats own the state.

“Politically influential rural water districts and well-off corporate farmers in and around California’s Central Valley have been pushing back against longstanding federal laws protecting endangered fish and other species”

By media standards, this was too biased - but still biased. The people/entities that are being referred to likely have no issue with the law itself, but rather that a judge can simply DECIDE BY FIAT to shutdown the water supply of the entire Central Valley...that isn’t “long standing”, that’s relatively new and needs to be stopped.

What the state did for a dagumed river smelt in that great valley of farms and ranches was criminal. I have relatives that had to leave and are now trying to start over in Australia. Mismanaged water environmentalists, mismanaged water from on high and regular drought patterns show the California water supply is unsustainable. People need to leave or we need to dam the rivers and lighten the dumb assed environmental issues. Many of which are just stupid.

"Darn that Trump, there he goes telling the truth, again."

You're kidding, right?

I've been, and will continue to be a supporter of Donald Trump.

But this statement is ridiculous: "There is no drought".

Just what is it when Sacramento got 15 inches of rain in 3.5 years? A flood? Monsoon?

Only a fool could believe that statement.

Water for humans, or pathways for the delta smelt to drop eggs in the sea? Hmmmmm, what to do?

Seriously, this kind of decision is exactly like seeing a man struggling to get free of a hungry bear, and CA officials aiming rifles and killing the man so the bear can get his dinner easier.
