At least five animal rights activists on Monday rushed the stage as presidential candidate Bernie Sanders spoke at a rally in Oakland, video posted online showed.

The protesters were led away by several Secret Service agents before they were able to reach the Democrat, whose speech was briefly interrupted by the disturbance, a video posted by CNN showed.

A Secret Service agent rushed to Sanders' side, grabbed him and wrapped his arms around the presidential candidate during the ruckus.

"We don't get intimidated easily," said Sanders, as he resumed his speech.

Animal rights group Direct Action Everywhere claimed responsibility for the protest, saying in a statement that it hoped to persuade Sanders to take a tough stance against factory farms.

“We don’t get intimidated easily,” said Sanders...

Tell that to Black Lies Matter. He’s too intimidated to say All Lives Matter.

MY first thought—Sanders cowered when two girls took his microphone.

When Trump was rushed, he turned and faced the threat and took a step toward it.

They hope to persuade Sanders into taking a tough stance on factory farms by rushing him on stage? This is stupid, Sanders is powerless. Try asking Trump. I plan to. Farm animal abuse is horrific in America, with illegals in the jobs that Americans really don’t want to do. I expect Trump will reign it all in. Sanders probably has stock in KFC.

Free publicity for the animal rights group, probably working in cahoots with the Sanders campaign.

“taking a tough stance on factory farms”

I think we have bigger fish to fry than that.

When will conservative activists start making trouble?
I guess that will be when we have grown weary of earning a living to support these spoiled children of the left.

How will that work? They got to vote once they turn 18 in dog years or our years? If it's our years, I don't see many rabbits, hamsters or gerbils making it to the voting booth....

Bernie also took in the Golden State Warriors - Oklahoma City Thunder game.

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders arrives at halftime

A question for Bernie. The NBA players are millionaires. How much should they give up to support your supporters?

Animal rights activists? Hmm...

The Federalist: "The book is a satire of Soviet Russia specifically and a parable about totalitarianism in general. Every major event in the book mirrors an event in Soviet history, from the Bolshevik Revolution to Trotsky fleeing the country to Stalin’s cult of personality. At the end of the book the once-egalitarian farm has devolved into a dictatorship where the animals toil harder, longer, and for less food than they did under the yoke of human masters before the revolution."

according the D handbook, the dead have voting rights too!

so it’s just a matter of linguistics for dead animals to have the ability to pull the D lever

give it time, some judge will rule this constitutional
