Former Bill Clinton Pollster: It's 'Increasingly Likely' Hillary Will Lose to Sanders in California

With the California primary less than a week away, and the latest polls showing Hillary Clinton only two points ahead of rival Bernie Sanders, which direction California is anyone’s guess.

Hillary’s campaign is doing all it can in the remaining days to avoid an embarrassing loss in the Golden State, jamming 30 events into the few days leading up to the primary.

“If she loses California, which is now increasingly likely,” Douglas Schoen, former pollster and political adviser to Bill Clinton, said on Fox News. “She’s behind Donald Trump in a number of polls, we’ve got the Justice Department likely to render a judgment that finds some culpability somewhere, don’t you think ... that the Democratic Party will say ‘Why do we need this? Why do we need to risk a defeat with Secretary Clinton?’”

In an editorial in The Wall Street Journal, Schoen expands on the notion that Clinton may not be the nominee.

“A Sanders win in California would powerfully underscore Mrs. Clinton’s weakness as a candidate in the general election,” he writes. “Democratic superdelegates—chosen by the party establishment and overwhelmingly backing Mrs. Clinton, 543-44—would seriously question whether they should continue to stand behind her candidacy.”

The news warms my heart. “Look what you’ve done you wretched brats, I’m melting, melting. What a world, what a world.”

If you went name by name, down the super-delegate list....aren’t like 75-percent in some position of ‘debt’ owed to Hillary or Bill Clinton from the 1990s? As much as it might make sense to go another way...with Bernie the only offered alternative...one might as well stay on the sinking ship and let it properly sink as deep as you can get it (down to Titanic-depths.

Well look at what an idiot she is...She gives a press conference bashing Trump. Why? She’s a total moron, it made her look arrogant as if Sanders doesn’t matter, she is the nominee and it allowed Sanders to pull ahead. I would rather she ran against Trump as he would finally expose to the world what the Clinton criminal cabal is all about, but it would be nice to see her fat cankle supported arse kicked the hell out of the race right about now as well. Once she drops out, it’s the end of the Clinton political holocaust. We will never have to deal with these two grifters again and I doubt their mutant daughter will run.

Ideal situation:

She wins NJ / she wins the nomination
She loses California

The convention struggles to do their duty and officially nominate a clear loser.

I heard recently that even if cankles loses CA, she has enough delegates to be the nominee.

It would be too incredibly delicious to see Hillary deprived of the one thing she has wanted all of her life, by the corrupt criminal organization known as the Democrat party, so that they can maintain power (which is all of them really ever want - it's certainly not to serve the people of America).

We will see the thrashing and lashing out of a great, wounded (Hilde) Beast. I really, really, hope the Democrat Party takes it away from her.

Problem is that I trust Doug Schoen less than I trust Hillary, if that’s possible.

She does but if she loses CA, Bernie supporters will wreak even more havoc at the convention. It will be a replay of the 1968 Chicago convention.

She's already a wounded candidate and, if she gets any weaker, it is possible that Obama will try to insert Biden into the equation.

Not necessarily so. One or two days ago a poll came out that was reported by Drudge. The overall figures put the Witch down by about a percentage point. However, the same poll found her up by nine percentage points among likely voters.

Has there ever been a “presumptive nominee” who lost 11 of the past 14 primaries like Crooked Hillary has done? And of those three she won, Kentucky could have gone either way.

I do not remember a nominee doing this poorly in the final contests. Despite the propping up she is getting from the leftist media, she is weak, weak, weak.

It already happened to her once, in 2008. The dems are probably scared to do it to her again.

Does CA have early voting? Early voting tends to skew against momentum.

She will lose California for sure. I live in the Silicon Valley and have not seen a single Hillary bumper sticker. It is only Feel the Bern stickers and billboards. All the college kids are for the Bern too.

The superdelegates will stick with Hillary.

They truly feel that it’s “her turn” to be president, and that’s that!

No wonder people on both sides of the aisle are fed up.

Whoever scheduled her visit to WV amply demonstrated that the wheels are coming off her campaign. That's her in the van wearing red. Here's hoping more show her the "love" she so richly deserves.

Hillary’s panic stricken campaign has the big donors worried. When they stop returning her calls, so will the super delegates.

Without other people’s money she’s dead.

I hope you are right. Of course the media did their best to hype her speech that was nothing more than personal attack on Trump.

One of the few networks to mock it was surprisingly RT. I happened to catch it by accident. It was funny as they kept count how many times she used the name Trump but said nothing of substance..
