On Thursday, just hours after President Obama announced his endorsement of Clinton, the White House broke from Clinton’s strategy of downplaying the scandal and labeled the investigation into her conduct as “criminal.”

This is why Democrats win Presidential elections. Compare this to what Republicans are doing to their nominee. *Spit*

...and then they call the investigation/inquiry itself criminal.

That is not true to the context of Earnest's remarks.

"...And that’s why the President when discussing this issue in each stage has reiterated his commitment to this principle that any criminal investigation should be conducted independent of any sort of political interference and that people should be treated the same way before the law regardless of their political influence, regardless of their political party, regardless of their political stature and regardless of what political figure has endorsed them.”

As much as I despise 0demagogue and his minions Earnest used the term 'criminal investigation' properly in reference to the type of investigation the FBI is conducting.

He endorses Hillary, Hillary gets indicted and has to drop out. Dem party is fractured and Michelle (Michael) Obama steps in. Third and Fourth Obama terms. You heard it here first.

I don’t have a crystal ball, but my theory is that obama and company know that o-care and his other things are going to collapse under it’s own weight and he doesn’t want any democrat to succeed him.
That way if a republican is in the white house and it all goes down, then O can say “it was all great when I was there. I did the best I could but the Republicans messed it up?
Just my theory....and I know very little about a lot of things and not a lot about anything.

We’ll see. What does Obama have to gain by Hillary succeeding him in the Oval Office?

Everything. Obama has done so many criminal things these past 8 years, he has to be concerned about the cleanup process. Hillary will make sure Obama's deeds get buried and never see the light of day.

You’re kidding, right? The rest of the field would have been chewed up and spit out by the Clinton machine. And don’t cite some poll from February of 500 retires in Vermont that said Kasich could be Hillary.

This might be best. If she’s not indicted there’s nothing to pardon her for. The important key is for Trump to win so he can go after her.

... labeled the investigation into her conduct as “criminal.”

Then he should have somebody prosecuted for committing this 'crime'.

If Hillary Clinton becomes president, there is a chance Michelle Obama will follow as the next POTUS. The Obamas and Clintons could be presidents for 32 of 40 years.

The excerpt seems to say O referred to the FBI investigation as a ‘criminal investigation’ but your comment and the headline lead one to believe he said the investigation itself is ‘criminal.’ Nice to know which it is.

If only there were some way to determine what the headline of the linked article was quoting. It certainly must be difficult and possibly even time consuming just to try to imagine how to begin.
