President Obama says don’t worry, the Orlando terrorist was just another “lone actor” operating in isolation, unconnected to any larger group of supporters. In fact, these so-called “lone wolves” are running in packs, and suggesting otherwise gives the public a false sense of security.
Yet Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson echoed Obama, saying Omar Mateen was “self-radicalized” without any religious, ideological or operational support from friends, family or others in the Muslim community.
“What we do know at this point is it appears this was a case of self-radicalization,” Johnson said. “He does not appear to have been part of any group.”
A more accurate picture is that Mateen, an Afghan-American, was part of a disturbingly large Muslim family of sympathizers, supporters and even co-conspirators.
For starters, his wife could face criminal charges in the attack on the gay Orlando nightclub, the deadliest act of terrorism in the US since 9/11. Noor Zahi Salman, who wed Mateen in 2011, reportedly told the FBI she knew about her husband’s planned attack and even drove him to the site of the massacre as part of a scouting operation. She also is said to have helped him case the Disney Springs shopping complex. What’s more, Salman allegedly was with Mateen when he bought ammo and a holster used in the attack.
Prosecutors have convened a grand jury to present evidence against Salman, a Palestinian immigrant, who ultimately could be indicted as an accessory to the murders of 49 people and the attempted murders of 53 others. Possible other charges include failing to report a terrorist attack and lying to federal agents.
It appears the seeds of Mateen’s hatred were planted at home.

Since they were not watching him, even after three red flags were raised, it is an impossibility to know what or who may have influenced him, to try and tell people otherwise is ludicrous.

I also don’t believe the “shooter was repressed homosexual” story. Something else cooked up by the media to get us off the real story. He’s was a radical Islamic terrorist, who despised Americans but had a special hatred for homosexuals, like all Muslims do. If he went to homosexual dating sites and went to the club he was scoping out the place for the shooting. He was married twice, had children and his father said he was not homosexual. The media, especially the two resident sodomites on CNN, Anderson Pooper an Donnie Lemonade, want us to believe he was a closeted sodomite that went crazy and killed more sodomites because if he couldn’t be a happy sodomite then no one else could be. Both these asses have also attacked Christians since the shooting for their opinions on sodomite “marriage”, like that’s got a damn thing to do with the jihadist murdering 50 people. And when has a nightclub from the very beginning been called a “gay” nightclub. Anybody can go to a bar and there were many straight people included in the murders, also something else the homosexual crazed media will not report.

I’ve recently reminded people he wasn’t alone in his opinion or actions - ISIS throws homosexuals off rooftops and Iran hangs them, while CAIR doesn’t utter a peep.
I find it disturbing that both the “Clock-boy” and the Orlando Gay club terrorist, had parents who claimed political leadership in waiting of Islamic countries after speaking with President Obama in the White House.
The Clock-Boy, who had been arrested for building a clock and taking it to school, identified as a bomb-hoax, had a father who claimed political office in Sudan, only to announce his family’s relocation to Qatar, a day after meeting Obama and the President of Sudan.
Omar Marteen’s father, had laid claim as the President in waiting of Afghanistan, and even had set up a non-profit in Florida with such a name and had met with Obama in the White House.
Why are all these terrorists associated with fathers who have met Obama in the White House and are claiming to become heads of Islamic states in waiting?
Birth day party for my son today. My four middle-aged siblings present. Orlando shooter topic comes up...and all four with weird manic vociferousness spoke up simultaneously denying that the shooter was muslim. It was pretty scary actually because I’ve never seen people who weren’t scripted directed actors aiming toward a comic satiric effect do that. I am not exaggerating. He COULD NOT BE MUSLIM, PERIOD!
