Neuron-Packed Bird Brains Point to Creation
by Jeffrey P. Tomkins, Ph.D. *
The amazing ability of birds to achieve ape-level cognitive traitsand in some cases exceed them like when they emulate human speechhas long confounded the evolutionary paradigm that claims humans evolved from apes. Now the bird intelligence evolutionary quandary has worsened as described in a new research report that shows bird brains contain over twice as many neurons per unit area as ape brains.

So, it’s good to be a bird-brain!........................
Sorry, it was just too easy.
You are correct.
According to evolutionary theory, we are still technically apes. We evolved from primates lower than apes, if neo-Darwinian theory is to be believed.
If Humans evolved from Apes, there would be no Apes.
Paws up, don’t shoot!
If bird brains are twice as effective as ours, and if dogs can make their own vitamin C but humans can’t, and if there actually is a Creator, it doesn’t look like he was particularly fond of humans.
LOL. I don’t believe that would be my Doberman’s response to a threatening shooter. His answer, translated from dog, would probably be, “oh,boy! Your ass is mine! I hope you are a libtard because I hear libtards taste like chicken and I love chicken!”
I’m still blown away whenever I see videos of crows solving puzzles better and faster than apes, using tools and everything.
What purpose does it serve for birds to be smarter than apes? They already have physical advantages that would keep them in a safe evolutionary niche like flying, beaks, and claws. There’s absolutely no need for them to develop such intelligence.
Evolutionary adaptability. Larger brains mean more weight. More weight means birds could not fly. So, more neurons without additional weight. Not so surprising.
Good dog!
Is that the current paradigm of evolutionists? The way I understand it, current thinking is that both apes (which still exist)and Homo Sapiens evolved from a common ancestor who was neither ape nor man.
Funny but in His Word he tell us of all creatures only we are in His image.
He is and we miss no chance to tell him.
Well, all the food is "down there." So is the nest, which is built in one place from material gathered in quite another place. A good deal of their business is conducted where they're out of their element. Get down there, do what you gotta do, but do it smartly and get back upstairs asap.
Then there's the migration thing.
And birds in the wetlands have it even more complex.
If they weren't exceptionally intelligent they'd be gone with the rest of the dinosaur tribes.
Evolution = religion.
“Complex systems cannot arise by chance events.”
True. But chance events cause complex systems to adapt and sometimes that means they become more complex in order to adapt.
It was a magic protozoan, it sprang to life from inert matter all on it’s own! Just like what happens every day.
Smart but insane
Still no need to be smarter than apes. Still can survive sufficiently with physical advantages and the brains to use them.
Food - no need to have ape-like intelligence to grasp food with claws, fly up with it, peck it open with a hard beak. Or fly to food that’s still in a tree, which is even better (it’s in that niche I was talking about).
It doesn’t take ape-like intelligence to build a nest.
It doesn’t take ape-like intelligence to migrate. If anything, the wings are the big advantage there, not brains. Instinct is not thought or reasoning.
You don’t need ape-like intelligence to survive in wetlands. Flying is a great advantage in those areas, just like it is on dry land.
