Ivanka Trump's shoe line is a shameless knockoff of a wildly popular Italian stiletto ... so claims the Italian shoemaker.
Aquazzura claims in a new lawsuit, Ivanka's Hettie shoe is almost a carbon copy of its Wild Thing pump ... a shoe that protects the feet of the famous-ish, including Solange and Olivia Palermo. Aquazzura points to the color, shape and silhouette, as well the fringe covering the toes to the tassel on the heel.
Aquazzura says Ivanka jacked their shoes before ... copying its Belgravia shoe and calling it Necila, and also copying its Forever Marilyn shoe and calling it Teagin Pointy Toe Pump with Tassel.
That's shoe biz ...
Similar...but different.
The other pics in the gallery are also similar but different.
It makes me think the designer did use the shoes and just changed it a little.

However, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those shoes.
I wore the WORST shoes in the world, made to hurt the feet, ruin the knees and back and make my legs look LONG and SLENDER.
I am still dealing with the ravages of those shoes now as an old woman.

They are different.
One had tying lace from side , other its missing.
Shape of sole is different.
My feet are hurting just looking at them.......
Ivanka’s doesn’t have the additional diagonal strap in front of the shoe. That’s a pretty major design difference. Maybe the challenge in Ivanka’s design is to keep the shoe on properly, without the additional buttress strap. Ivanka’s does make for a simpler, more elegant, “cleaner” look.

In a just world, once a year, a 24 hour window permitting the hunting of lawyers, with no bag limit, would make the world a better place to live for all of us.
I could never wear shoes like that. I wore very high heels but always with an enclosed toe - and the more pointed and narrow the better! My toes have finally unwound. My favorite stilettos were so punk.
If you’ve seen one red stiletto with fringe, you’ve seen them all.
Frankly, I don’t care for either.
The shape of the stiletto itself is different. The Italian one is far slimmer (proportionately), and it’s ‘fluff’ over the toes is more disciplined (for lack of a better word). I would imagine the original Italian is several times more expensive. But that’s what happens in the entire fashion industry. The second something comes out, it’s copied. Not a thing in the world new there!
I am going to employ the same defense people use when Bill Clinton is brought up involving Hillary’s campaign; She (Ivanka) is not running.
Ouch! I hate to think what would happen to my feet if I wore those things for even five minutes. Or walked out onto the lawn with them.
