The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 43% of the vote, while Clinton earns 39%. Twelve percent (12%) still like another candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided....

“Rasmussen sold this poll firm in 2013 so your argument is dead wrong . but nice try to stop good news . fail”

What are you talking about? My argument is that Rasmussen was fairly accurate in 2012, whoever owned the firm. Learn to read.

Romney had the 2012 election in his grasp but as you point out, he narrowly lost just about every swing state. While an electoral blowout, only a few percentage points in those swing states would have given him the 270.

The prospects are good for Trump to flip those states to the GOP column. He can help himself by reaching out to the black people. So far, pretty much all his rallies have been in predominantly white areas. Ceding 90%+ of the black vote to the Democrats is preposterous. The black people have been done wrong and taken for granted by the Democrats for decades. I think Trump has the ability to make a lot of inroads here, unlike previous GOP candidates who were willing to just write them off.

If it were not for the worthless GOPe sabotaging his every move Trump would be up by 15 pts in every poll. Never in the history of the country, not that I can remember anyway, has the nominee of a party been as despised by their own party as Trump has. Yes Reagan was not liked by George Romney and other elitists, but nothing on the scale Trump is going through. It’s unreal. These worthless POSs could rather Hillary Clinton be elected and continue Obama’s destruction of the country and dismantle the US Surpreme Court for the next 50 years, than to have their fat-cat way of life interrupted. They all make me sick to my stomach. Working for the election of Hillary Clintos is all in the hell they’re doing. That also includes all the dulusional Cruzbots that are still hungover.

It cannot be true because just yesterday the Today show pundits were describing Trump’s “faltering” campaign and Trump “struggling” to get his campaign back on track.

The Rasmussen Report will be summarily ignored by Fox and the other liberal media. Yes I said liberal because Fox is as liberal as the rest. The “Crisis of Character” author went on the Bloody Megyn Show last night night and she grilled him like CNN has already hired her. After her maybe 5 minutes with him she brought on uber leftist Clinton supporter Julie Roginsky to call the agent a liar and say he was an entry level agent and would have been no where near the Queen Bitch in the White House, only directing traffic on the White House grounds. Kelly agreed with her and both belittled the integrity and honor of a 30 year Fed Agent.

You’re talking about blacks that want jobs. They would vote for Trump. The ones on the democrat dole for the last 50 years will never vote for a republican. Makes no difference if he promises to bring back jobs or not. The Democrat Party has made a concerted effort to keep blacks on the Democrat Plantation for the last 50 years with government assistance. They ones that escape from it are called sell-outs and Uncle Toms.

I mentioned back during the primary that every time I saw a Ben Carson bumper sticker on a car, it was driven by black people. Were those people black republicans, or did they merely support a black man who was more than a race hustler? I would love to see Trump choose someone like Carson as his running mate. No, Carson would not be my choice for POTUS, but we need to get over the idea that the Veep automatically is in line to be POTUS as that seldom happens. I think a guy like Carson would bring in more votes than some has-been old white guy like Gingrich.

-4 one day, +5 another day. What nonsense.

Agreed - the polling seems to be taking a stock market "trend" these days.

Trump is more popular than they would have us believe and we need to stay steadfast, support him in any way we can and send him money.

It's really up to us if he prevails over Hillary and I'm not likely to be polite to the whiners and the "principled" conservatives that seem to be hell bent on throwing our Nation to the hyenas...if they aren't actively supporting Trump at this time, they have no Conservaive credentials or principles.

Every time ISIS does one of their little stunts, more voters realize that Trump is their only choice.

Interesting. Clinton leads amongst blacks but Trump leads against “other” minorities. Not sure what this means if it’s truly an other, but that would definitely include Asians and Hispanics.

Wonderful. But seriously, people, this is not an invitation to kick back.

I will never understand why people make posts like yours.

The entire body of political science research shows that voter turnout becomes suppressed when voters on a given side are overcome by feelings of hopelessness and sense of despair due to a belief that their votes will not make a difference.

In other words, when voters become convinced either by the facts or a misleading narrative that the race has become uncompetitive for their side, THAT suppresses the vote.

That is why so many left-friendly, agenda-driven, opinion-shaping polls show Hillary way up.

On the other hand, when polls show that a race is highly competitive, it drives voter interest and turnout UP on both sides.

And if a particular side is doing really well, a bandwagon effect develops that causes that side's supporters to want to pile on and vote to crush the other side in a landslide. Exuberance and a sense of victory actually increases turnout.

“I will never understand why people make posts like yours.”

Try harder.

People have too much emotion wrapped in polls and far too many, if they see their candidate in the lead, will happily see that “everything is under control”, and wont see the immediate need to donate, participate, volunteer, and just stay active.

Just kick back, watch the magic happen and the votes roll in.....in an election that is still months away.
