I could handle Rand Paul as VP candidate.
If Main Street is Wall Street, the answer is No and that is fine with me.
Trump is smart he will pick some one who has these three qualifications/
First will keep him from being an assassination target by being solidly behind him on his agenda and who can not be seduced by Lobbyists,
Second he or she must bring in votes to help win states because if you don't win it doesn’t matter.
Third he wants them to be what he is not and who can help him achieve his goals.
Match those and you narrowed down your list of potential VP picks.
Bad choice. Trump’s biggest weakness is his low support among republicans. His numbers need to go from 75% to 90%. If that happens, he wins.
Trump needs a well known, respected, long time republican. All other considerations are secondary. I believe the best person is Newt.

I’d never considered Rand Paul as Donald’s VP, but now that you mention it, he’d be a very good choice. You’ve made a very good case with your bullet points above.
Above all, he’s not a sellout to the Uniparty, like so many other established politicians. I may not always agree with him, but he’s got character - something that is severely lacking in so much of the political class.
He’s also got real courage, and is smart as a whip. I also don’t remember him ever voting like a democrat.

I love Rand Paul and I also like Newt Gingrich but round these parts that’s a bit like saying that you like AIDS.

Rand Paul is far and away the best available choice if people are serious about winning.
He alone will bring in 90% of those currently saying they will vote Libertarian.
And if you check the numbers, Ron Paul voters sitting out last time around made more than enough difference to lose the race for Romney.
The people whining about this possibility will still go to the polls and vote Trump.
Rand meets all the major qualifications:
- the Deep State fears him, so he makes good assassination insurance
- He knows how to work Congress and the Senate specifically which is most important from the point of view of a President
- He can attract millions of voters that Trump can’t on his own
- He’s an actual conservative and is serious about the Constitution
People slamming this idea are stuck in big-L Loser mode.
Rubio is back in the Senate race, and he’s needed there.
LOL——We need an Alpha Male to blast this unconstitutional cartel system called the USA to hell and back. The whole system is rotten to the core and they are REALLY evil, vile people who control the purse strings, agencies and the politicians, who will literally kill the children/families of men, like Rand Paul, if not Paul himself, if he doesn’t embrace their satanism (”justice” (vice/slave) system).
Only Trump has the body guards/the money to thwart the evil cartels.....and even he may not be able to pull it off or be a “good” guy. Our military and CIA and a lot of the FBI are totally corrupted now and been purged of the good guys a while ago. Our SCOTUS has been purged/bribed also with Scalia being the nail in the coffin.
There may be some good guys left in govt. like Paul, but they have been neutered or raped by the sodomite elites (very evil diabolical people and can’t accomplish anything-—even controlling the invasion of barbarians. God’s Plan? We will see and pray, but we may be in for some diabolical times, since we have allowed such evil (laws/entertainment) to corrupt our children.
Sen Paul is against TPP.
Sen Paul introduced legislation to ban immigration from terror-heavy countries.
Those are both in accord with Trump’s big issues.
(Paul also voted against the Gang of 8 amnesty bill.)

Yup, and its why most alternative suggestions would be suicidal for Trump. Gingrich or Christie? The Deep State would LOVE them, especially the former and his history of dancing naked in front of owl statues.

I like Rand Paul. He was the only guy running who actually understood the Constitution. For this reason, he should probably stay in the Senate instead of attending funerals and dinners for low-level dignitaries.
