The guy that attempted to hitch a ride on the Romney wagon?
If he wants to be a DEMOCRATIC VP; I say let him!
The guy that helped SO MUCH on the Romney bandwagon?
No; thanks.
If he wants to be a DEMOCRATIC VP; I say let him!
Oh?
Didn't work so well for Mitt!
She's gonna BLOW!
Hi Elsie.
I'm not so sure either one on that ticket was an adult.
(I used to think it was Paul Ryan, but now? not so much).
I just snorted coffee all over the keyboard... thank you, very much...
That pic is freaking hilarious...! LOL!
There are tons of reasons why Paul brings in the younger generation. He talks about things that matter to them. He’s not eager to send them into another flesh-grinding catastrophe of war. He revives the spirit of liberty that was what this country was founded on. He articulates a coherent vision of a small government that doesn’t get tossed out the window the moment some emotional hot-button issue like terrorism or drugs is raised. And a ton of other things.
The next generation really doesn’t care to go through another round of fighting 1960s social conflicts and doesn’t care to play globocop, and that’s something that the older generation in the GOP doesn’t seem to understand.
Excellent list. With those three, you can immediately eliminate not only Rand Paul bur also Newt and Cristie. Dr. Ben Carson, Joni Ernest or even Ted Cruz (if he would pack in his foolish pride) would all check at least two of those three boxes.
Rand Paul's immigration speech...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.[Posted on 03/19/2013 7:04:07 AM PDT by Perdogg]
Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...
This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.
Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reformLatinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... Bernie, an open, loud mouthed, socialist, 74 YO totalitarian, and you think his supporters will vote for a hated capitalist. Not a chance. It is all about the free stuff.
I agree, it makes sense. It would also be good to have someone in his age range to follow 8 years of Trump with 8 more years. Trump is good at training up people too.
;^)
Where is his list of things he'd eliminate from our present government?
No way! He’s dishonest, got some crazy ideas, almost like his dad. I’m bother as much by his apparent entitlement to follow his dad’s footsteps.
Maybe Allen West would be a great choice.
Paul is not even going to the convention .
Didn't know that two weeks ago when I posted that comment. But thanks for the late news....
