Crime went up in California in 2015, with year-to-year jumps not only in murders, robberies and car thefts but also in hate crimes against Muslims and assaults against police officers, according to statistics released Friday by Attorney General Kamala Harris.

The data has always shown no “Ferguson effect” exists.
The science is settled.
What we see here is a minor bookkeeping error, nothing to be concerned about.

Not to mention the exploding homeless/panhandling population. I live in an expensive neighborhood: West Hollywood West. Our local grocery stores are practically surrounded by homeless drug-addicts begging for money. Mostly black, for some reason.

Proposition 47, mentioned in article, reduced certain felonies to misdemeanors. This gives criminals a “stay out of jail” card. Should be noted that Gingrich supported this.
Brown vs. Plata decision which limits the prisoner population in CA. The deciding vote was Justice Kennedy again.
Compton is half Mexican these days.
The only way California will reduce violent crime is to close its borders to white US Citizens who continue to import illegal firearms and hate.
