Bogus article. Nothing about duct tape or WD-40.

102. Driving foreign invaders from your homeland.

Sure, it was fun when diversity = tapas bars within walking distance, but now that they’ve declared open war on you and your Nation, it’s time to begin the process of expelling the threat while there are still American women left unraped.

“will praying change a tire?”

Yes. A little old lady prayed someone would come to help her change a tire. Some good Samaritan saw her stranded by the road and kindly offered to help her.

“will praying provide the warmth of a fire?”

Yes, and then some. The warmth of God’s love is greater than any earthly fire.

“will praying provide the sewn on button to make the coat warm?”

Yes. Through prayer God will provide the button, the thread and needle, and even the experienced hand to sew it back on.

“rather than depend on God for every little thing, there is first self reliance”

There is no proper self without God. Start with Him and everything else will fall into place as His plan permits. I have nothing against people learning every valuable skill, but the idea that we’re truly self-reliant and don’t need God is idiocy. It’s also idiocy to think prayer is not a valuable skill.

A messed-up list. The DIY tasks are too specialised. They should be more basic, like 'to perform any type of bolted joint' including understanding the concept of applied force, dealing with frozen bolts and everything else, or 'drive a nail with hammer' - not hanging a picture, or 'precisely cut a board with a hand saw'. A man with these skills can cope with any practical tasks having read a manual or a book. And ability for find and use reference information is an important manly skill too.

PT things? A 'proper pull-up' isn't a big deal, a certain amount of times (e.g. 15) should be set.

Speaking a foreign language in the same row with sewing in a button raises eyebrows.

I'd like to see a similar list for women. What would be in? Making a dress with a sewing machine and knitting a sweater with needles, probably.

I can do about 75% of these, and I’m female. I’d also add knowing basic first aid, in addition to CPR and the Heimlich.

Depends on the prescription. Negative diopter prescriptions scatter light and cannot start a fire.

Know how a diesel engine works and how to start a cantankerous one. Lots of our infrastructure is diesel or gas turbine powered (gas turbines are close kin to diesels).

Know how to drive a tractor trailer should you need to move one or drive one in an emergency.

I’ve survived a bear attack too, and have pictures to prove it. Yeah, it was a small one but still it did some damage. I’ve tried and tried to whistle with my fingers; can’t get the hang of it. Never changed oil or done CPR either. Overall, a pretty good list, and I can claim to have mastered over 90% of it.
