My guess is this is about a speech at the convention.

It is very doubtful there will be a Trump-Cruz ticket.

Unlike TCruz for whom I voted on March 1, I had no trouble at all switching to Trump for Nov. 8. Too bad northerners won’t make the switch as easily as I did

I don't recall Trump saying that Cruz's dad was involved in the murder of JFK...he just said he knew and sort of worked with Oswald - which appears to be true.

Trump-Cruz, no: Trump-Santorum, who agree more with the Trump platform than does Cruz.

Is Lyn’ Ted stirring up this news? Seems to hurt him more than anyone else. He’s lost all credibility and things like this just remind people of this. I look forward to supporting anyone running against his re-election to the Senate. He needs to be retired, sent home to Canada.

Probably Cruz selling out for campaign cash from Priebus.

I do agree that Santorum is a possibility.

I wrote this on another thread. Santorum fits as one who has no career to harm.

As far as veeps, it is hard to say. They have to not have a career anymore or be obsequious (e.g. Christie, Perry).

Possibilities:

Newt
Scott Brown
Christie
Giuliani
Rick Perry

Trump is trying to unify the party. It’s part of his job as the nominee and essential if he wants to win.

The pants-wetting crowd should congratulate him for the effort and get off of his back about being a renegade loner.

I doubt it too. But Cruz could make good impeachment insurance. Unlikely that Ds or Rs in congress would want to get rid of Trump if that means President Cruz.

Impeachment insurance.

Yes, I hadn’t been thinking of that. They can impeach Trump in Feb 2017 if they want.

It’s all too weird.

Being a renegade loner is the only thing in Trump’s favor, that put him where he is.

I want him to be a renegade loner.

Reading this I’m reminded of the personal attacks Trump made on Mrs. Cruz. That was below the belt and very “middle school”.

I very much dislike Ted Cruz, but if the Trump/Cruz ticket beats Hillary then I'm all for it. I'm already convinced that Trump will have to break left in social issues to gather enough votes to win thanks to 16 years of leftist mass immigration and such a shift will be easier with a Conservative fire brand as VP.

This election is about stopping the total implosion of the country and it's going to take drastic measures to save it.

There are far too many sore winners on this site. They want to punish the defeated and rub salt in the wounds as long as possible. They don’t want to unify anything, they want to march into battle with only those who have been loyal since the beginning and to hell with anyone who didn’t support Trump by last August.

Trump is doing what needs to be done, and I am glad for it. I will gladly vote for Trump in November, but many of his supporters have lost my respect completely.

Agree. Passing out commie literature is not necessarily being part of a conspiracy.

I also voted for Cruz in the Pennsylvania primary.

I will gladly be voting for Trump in the general election.

I understand that primaries can be very very nasty. I remember when Rick Perry (who I liked and would have voted for) called Trump a cancer to the Republican Party. The same with Scott Walker of Wisconsin (who I also like a lot).

We need to get over all the animosity and now do everything possible to elect the great American patriot Donald Trump for President of the USA.

Trump & Cruz are both adults, who, I would hope, care more about saving the Republic than destroying each other. If ever there were two that could get past the primaries and work together for the good of the Country, it would be these two.
