The shooter/terrorist told the police he and his team planted many IEDs throughout the area.
IEDs are typically detonated by remote cell phone systems so, to Police Knowledge, he could have started to detonate IEDs and killed many more from his well protected position.
The police came up with a creative solution to neutralize his threat with their own improvised explosive device and it worked.
The Dallas Police did a superb job of protecting the public given the information they were dealing with at the time. They deserve a commendation.

The “alleged shooter” was using an “alleged gun” to fire “alleged bullets”.

I was in Philly that day when the cops burned several blocks down. I’m surprised by how few have heard of this event. The MOVE fire.
