Not saying at all that we have the facts in these recent shootings, but you are absolutely correct about Snopes.

Snopes/Factcheck.org/Reddit/and several others, have for years remained faithful in their support of left-wing narratives throughout academia and the political arenas.

Nearly all of these organizations are owned by proactive left-wing corporations or individuals, and have almost no conservative representation.

As an academic, I have many times had to deconstruct false narratives and provide context to that which was missing, in politics, economics, and history.

These organizations were literally created to advance the liberal/progressive agenda, while acting to overwhelm those who could correct them with myriad subtle or blatant false arguments.

Often their facts contain truth. Sometimes their facts are just wrong. However, there is no such thing as an author without bias (including mine), and in most cases, their strategies clearly revolve around critical missing context, and cloaking or dismissing the true and greater agenda of progressive/socialist individuals and organizations.

What I find amazing is that so many self-described “conservatives” seem compelled to look to these subversive leftist websites as arbiters of truth.

Why would you possibly believe his skanky gf rather than assuming the cop may have been reacting to the presence of a gun? I outlined why it was hard to believe he had a gun permit - SINCE HE APPARENTLY DIDN’T HAVE A LICENSE - and yet you continue to side against LE and take the lying gf’s statements at face value. I find that disgusting. Didn’t you learn anything after Trayvon, Mike Brown, or Freddy Gray or do you just hate cops in general?

The 79 offenses relate to an entire decade apparently. I would agree it’s excessive. But I watched a local news channel from the area which interviewed a college professor who studied statistical data from the Twin Cities area. If you are black or Latino....you are three times more likely than a white guy....to get a ticket for something.

All in all....this goes back to the trend over the past thirty years of increasing police forces....just to hand out tickets and accumulate fines. I looked up what this dead guy had paid over a decade....$6,500 in fines. Roughly $500 a year. Frankly, if this were me....I’d be frustrated and aggravated with this trend. I’d probably give up on the city and move out of the state. Go figure up 10,000 such guys in this region....all paying $500 a year, and you got a bunch of unhappy campers. The city is just making a mockery of justice and the use of cops.

This guy may have a weapon on himself...and he might have been ID’ed as a suspect...but this trend of 79 traffic offenses? This would just make me ask more questions about what the cops are hired to do and whether it’s good law enforcement or not.

you don't need a driver's license to get a Minnesota CCW permit, a state issued ID or passport will suffice. so, I guess your theory just got shot to shiite.

I don't feel one or the other about cops "in general" btw. I just feel that this particular cop effed up. Or perhaps you think that cops are incapable of effing up? The cop that shot Walter Scott in the back 8 times certainly effed up. Anyone can eff up.
