Castile was not positively ID’d to be one of the robbers from the store video, he merely was deemed to possibly be one at that time. *sigh*
What the hell are you talking about? The author is merely explaining the facts about the specific nature of the traffic stop. And you don’t know either way if Castile was or wasn’t one of the robbers.
It was stipulated that the officer believed he had a possible robbery suspect, genius, not a positively ID’d robbery suspect.
Do you need the difference between reasonable suspicion and probable cause explained to you?
How about reading the same text you quoted?
If you suspect someone in a vehicle is an "Armed Robbery Suspect" you don't pull them over and simply walk up to the vehicle and ask them nicely for ID. Not going to happen Ching.
Instead they conduct a felony traffic stop for "Armed robbery suspects".
