Paul Ryan sank to 43% in the latest Wisconsin poll of likely primary voters.

The Republican Speaker has been more critical of Donald Trump than Barack Obama this year. This is great news! Republicans are finally getting rid of this traitor!

Breitbart.com reported:

A poll of likely Republican voters shows House Speaker Paul Ryan well below 50 percent in his race to maintain his seat in Wisconsin’s first Congressional district.

The poll was conducted by P.M.I., with 424 respondents randomly called from a file of 11,000 likely GOP primary voters. It shows that with one month remaining before Wisconsin’s August 9th vote

Hope to be performing an Irish jig on August 10th just after sending a donation to the Nehlen for Congress campaign.

What a strong effective ad? It should be run nationally by Trump.

Like any good politician, big bucks are in lobbying, not lawyering. Lobbying pays 10 times more and you whoring five times less.

Woo-Hoo, it’s looking like 1994 again when we ousted Speaker of the House Tom Foley (D-WA) during the Gingrich revolution.

What’s his opponent at? Isn’t that kind of important too?

I would LOVE to see him destroyed, but I think the heading is a little premature, though headed in the right direction.

What’s up wth the rules there if nobody gets 50?

This will free him up so he can be Hillary’s running mate.

Thank you for the explanation. When I see ‘primary’, I think spring. That is when our primaries are held in Texas.

WRONG, a lot of good conservatives want Ryan gone no matter what..... getting one 1st-term ‘Rat rep. with no seniority is a small price to pay to be rid of Ryan as Speaker. But let’s hope Nehlen can win and do the job....

At this point in the VA election cycle polls had Brat way behind Cantor. It’s not so bad to be behind a month out. Like the guy said in Devil’s Advocate, ‘They’ll never see him coming.’

It is a very common technique of cult leaders and con men to separate their mark from his former associates, family and friends. By sowing distrust for the people in the mark’s pre-existing support network, the cult leader or con man gains power over the mark, and makes him more dependent and more easy to manipulate.

I am not going to say that Paul Ryan is perfect. No politician is perfect. But Paul Ryan is pretty good, and far better than most Republicans in Congress. If we toss Ryan aside just because he is insufficiently enthusiastic about Donald Trump, we are going to have to throw out 80% of the Republicans in Congress.

I will vote for Donald Trump. He is far better than the alternative, and may wind up being a good President. His opponent is a guaranteed disaster, so the choice is easy.

But I am not going to sign on to this obsession of Trump’s most ardent supporters to purify the Republican Party. Trump may be our nominee, but his is far my ideal of what a conservative Republican should be. I have no desire to remake the Republican Party in Trump’s image.

“I hate a rino just as much as a democrat or more even!”

For me, it’s more. If we pretend we’re at war, at least the Democrats are wearing uniforms. The RINOs pretend to be one of us and then stab us in the back again and again. Now, with this crap from people like Romney / Jeb! / Ryan they barely even bother to disguise what they are. It’s so pervasive that they’ve made me distrust ANY career politician on our side who’s in office, which is probably a little unfair - but so be it.

Click through to the article. Ryan is at 42%, but his opponent is 10% behind that. The website is from some European outlet that I never heard of. I have zero confidence in this report.

This is a Nothingburger.

424 respondents is not a lot of data to go on. I do hope Ryan loses, I can’t stand him.
