Maybe it’s time for people who can read to understand the difference between moslems, Sikhs and toss in Hindus.
It’s very easy to tell the difference.
You are too much hung up on how Sikhs are not Muslims. Who says they are? Even most Muslims do not run around with turban and beard, except for ... wait for it ... medieval throwbacks.
All I am saying is that — if you want to be taken seriously, dress properly. Same goes for Muslim females wearing rag on their heads to somehow cover up their modesty (and keep their mug open for everybody to see... not sure how that works out logically).

They are in fact quite similar to muslims and they do have a fine tradition of terrorism as well.

I don’t say that Sikh terrorism (which had it’s heyday in the 1980-90’s) is as large a threat as Islamic terrorism, but it is false to paint Sikhs as always friendly, peaceful, lovely people... as several folks try to do (probably not knowing better).
Did the gentleman try explaining the distinctive Sikh religion and history, and the Sikhs’ long and often very positive relationship with the British Empire? It might have helped.
