Donald Trump may be winning converts from an unlikely source — Democrats — a new unpublished poll shows.
What's more, according to the poll, Trump is tied with Hillary — and in fact, the Republican candidate is within striking distance in several historically Democratic states.
Sources I interviewed said the poll was conducted by the Harper Polling Firm for the U.S. Senate campaign of GOP State Rep. Dan Carter.
The as-yet published poll shows Trump tied with Clinton — each with 43 percent — in heavily Democratic Connecticut.

I grew up in eastern Connecticut and even though that part of the state is heavily Democratic, as we were very close to the Rhode Island border, many of the Democrats I grew up around were Catholic, anti-abortion, and on occasion would vote for Republicans if the Democrats running for local, state, and national office were horrible. I remember a number of my Democrat neighbors, most of whom were blue collar workers, were enthusiastic for Reagan both in 1980 and 1984. I’ve since moved to the west coast and Connecticut has gone solid blue, but if Trump is doing this well in a northeastern state it doesn’t bode well for Hillary nationally.
Exactly. Any white male, especially, who is a voting democrat is insane IMO. There’s other things I would call them, but I like Free Republic & don’t want to get banned.
We are going to return to values sought by everyone who served honorably in the military. Reagan values.

Trump’s winning coalition of voters will astound the political punditry class and the media. The media knows full well there is widespread anger among the American people and choose to not report it. The pundits know too, but will ignore it. The tsunami is building for a big Trump victory!

True enough....Trump showing strenght among Democrats in NorthEast states is a good sign for states like Florida and North Carolina, where many of these people move.
Trump has hit a nerve with the working class with his promise to build the wall and bring back jobs.
Every time John Ellis Bush or Willard Romney condemns Trump, a normally anti-Republican voter is recruited.

I had “the talk” with semi liberal nephew before he moved to NC last year.
I said “you’re leaving NJ becuase liberals made it suck. Dont go ####ing up NC with your vote!!”
He bought into that gay marriage #### unfortunately, but he is fiscally conservative and thinks dem spending is insane.
I told him at WORST, stay home. Dont vote if you dont vote for Trump
He and his GF (getting married before living together is so 20th century) love it down there.
Has the word gone out to the BLM and assorted anarchists to dial it way back? The rats have to know that the more outrages their mayhem, the more it creates Trump voters.
