As I like to think “long term”, this is something that is frequently on my mind. So, thank you for bring it up.
I didn’t know much about Mike Pence before DJT selected him for VP. But, as soon as I heard him speak and really observed his demeanor, I got the overwhelming sense that God had a very real hand in his selection.
Pence exudes a quiet, humble, and honest Christian spirit.
I think during these next years, not only will he be a spiritual mentor for DJT, but Pence himself will learn much from our Donald about best practices for governing America.
When the time comes, it is my prayer that Pence continue the Trump legacy, with a passion to lead this nation back to God in a very real way.
Just my thoughts..............
I think Pence is a real asset to the ticket.

I didn't see that about him at first. In fact, I was delighted he was running. But the way the Iowa caucus turned out was the turning point for me. Oh yes, he won. But it was not without controversy, that which he was responsible for. Then other facts and truths about Cruz began coming to the forefront, and ultimately, I've come to believe that the best man for the job has won the nomination.
He was just on Varney and took it to CRUZ for not fulfilling his pledge.

If he doesn’t endorse Trump, he’ll just prove that we were right, i.e., that he isn’t actually an American. If he’d rather see Hillary in the White House than Trump, it confirms that the country is of no importance to him. It’ll show that he hates Trump more than he loves America — and that’s unforgivable.

I don’t think he will endorse but I also think Manafort has laid down the law to him, and there will be no snotty remarks, just anti-Hillary and the usual rah rah from asshat Ted.

I think Trump set him up to either hang himself, or deliver on his
pledge to support the nominee. Either way Trump wins.
No one can ever say Cruz did not have the opportunity,
which ever choice Cruz makes.
