The same hackers who penetrated the Democratic National Committee also succeeded in breaking into the Clinton Foundation, it was disclosed Tuesday.
The news broke just as leaks from the DNC hack — which was disclosed last week — began to appear online.
The perpetrators were said to have “links to the Russian government,” according to Bloomberg News, which first reported that the foundation had been compromised. –– ADVERTISEMENT ––
“The hackers in fact sought data from at least 4,000 individuals associated with US politics — party aides, advisers, lawyers and foundations — for about seven months,” Bloomberg reported.
US officials have informed both major political parties and the presidential campaigns of Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders that sophisticated hackers were attempting to penetrate their computers.
Clinton Foundation officials did not say which documents and other information had been stolen.
Trump has said that he plans to make a campaign issue of donations, especially from foreign governments, to the Clinton Foundation, and confidential data, e-mails and other materials could aid in that effort if they become public.
The FBI, Secret Service and National Security Agency are investigating.

My thought exactly, some alphabet agency, Hillary has f’ed so many. If I was in such a position I would use a third source such as WikiLeaks. Once they had the State Dept emails they also got CGI emails. Read that the Benghazi server also had CGI on it.
The Clinton Global Crime Initiative Foundation is where the real dirt is. Money laundering, illegal contributions, influence peddling, drug and arms running, etc. If they got into that, then a large segment of the government will be fleeing the country.
Hillary’s email server was a just a tool allow the Clinton’s to pursue their many Mr Outside/Mrs Govt Insider pay for play schemes using an off the books, private e mail system to hide them from FOIA scrutiny.
Th Clinton Foundation and it’s many spin offs and affiliates is where the real criminal stuff is located.

It wouldn’t surprise me if someone in the DNC who works in IT is a Trump fan or has conservative leanings...or heck is even a Saners supporter and after hearing that the russians hacked in decided he might capitalize on that fact and release a few emails.
I remember that QandA between Chaffetz and Comey. It was at that point the fact this inquiry was CONducted with the objective of finding nothing was evident. Generally when interviewing someone about a fidelity issue, you look at everything they did in the past to establish if there was a history of misbehavior and further to indicate a propensity to do a criminal act. The fact they went into this interview with blinders on demonstrated to me immediately there was never any intent on the FBI to charge her with any crime. It would be the equal of stopping someone for speeding leaving a bank with a car load of cash in plain view, ski masks on the floor boards and then giving them a traffic ticket and sending them on their way.
Well, it’s obvious all the MSM got the memo from the DNC to say “the Russians did it”.

For the third time, there is not a shred of evidence that only Dems were hacked, nor that the Russians did it.

Clearly, the maximum impact on the general election of Clinton-damaging emails would happen after the adjournment of the DNC convention.Maximum excitement would occur if proof of Clinton Foundation acceptance of foreign government money while Hillary was in office (Senator or SoState). The “appearance of impropriety” Dems love to accuse Reps of would stink to high heaven.
Leaving the Dems to decide if they wanted to anoint someone who clearly should be in jail, or tough it out.

I don’t think Wikileaks sees it as just a democrat thing. I believe they see Hillary wanting to be the chief facilitator for the “globalist elite oligarchy”... That is their enemy and that is who they believe owns her!

That is my hobby horse;While Hillary was “holding [an] office of profit or trust,” she was a principal in two institutions which did, quite aggressively, "accept of” many presents or emoluments from multiple foreign states - the honoraria paid to her husband, thus her marriage of which she was a principal, for speeches as well as nominally charitable (as if that made a difference, absent congressional authorization) donations to the Clinton Foundation.
