Krauthammers Take: Trumps Russia Comment Set a Trap That the Clinton Campaign Fell Into
NR STAFF July 27, 2016 7:47 PM
Charles Krauthammer said tonight that the Clinton campaign contradicted itself by calling Donald Trumps request for Russia to locate Hillarys missing e-mails a threat to national security: Well, that was his parting shot, and it was a clever thing to plant, because it is an issue. But I do think there was something about his reference to Russia that, whether planned or not, was extremely clever.
Im not the first to point out that it set a trap that the Clinton campaign fell right into. In that statement that you showed from the Clinton campaign, it said youre [Trump] is inviting a foreign power to invade our national security.
Now, these are the e-mails she deleted because they were supposedly private; these were the ones that were supposedly not work-related; these are the ones where she discusses her yoga lessons and wedding planning. So if that what was really in the 30,000 deleted e-mails, then theres no national security to be involved at all.
So the Clinton campaign ends up admitting that perhaps there really is work-related if not classified stuff in the e-mails that she deleted, which I think would be grounds for a charge of obstruction. Whether or not he meant it seriously it could have been sarcastic, it could have been sort of half-sarcastic as a way to plant the idea the fact is that it leaves the Clinton campaign in a complete contradiction.
If these are just private e-mails, then there is nothing to be concerned about. There is no espionage. There is no danger to national security that they will discover her yoga lesson schedule.
Except that if they got the “yoga lesson” emails, they got the secret stuff too.
Sooner or later even Mr. Krauthammer sometimes comes to understand what we discuss on FR beforehand.
Kraut grudgingly admits Trump’s genius
Obviously, but Shrillary maintained that there was no “secret stuff” in the 30 odd thousand emails her staff deleted.
It was also a jab at the media as he said in closing that the press would praise it.
Ah yes, the smartest woman in the world.
Exactly!
We're gonna win so much, you're gonna get tired of winning!
...and the band played on...
It seems like the media is getting spanked too for their slavish devotion to democrats. Delicious.

Antidote:
Here’s a great one from, believe it or not, NBC:
“Dems Just Fell for Trump’s Russian email Hack Bait”
(They point out that he committed “grand theft convention’ and dems haven’t realized it yet. Very good read.
Bump
We need to get Nachum on the job! :)
Although, he must be so busy with the List of Obama's missteps, failures, botched jobs, etc. ad nauseum. :)
Some other FReepers have mentioned today that since these emails were not on a secure government server, and instead on her home server, wherever that was, that by definition, there is no espionage.
I wish I could remember who said that.
Hillary brought this all upon herself.
And by the way, who sends/receives 30,000 emails on yoga and their daughter’s wedding!!!?
It is simply not believable.
Even the Kraut doesn’t get it.
Trump joked about Russia giving us the emails - that have ALREADY been hacked some years ago - and that she subsequently, illegally, deleted from her computer - so could not now BE hacked...
and the dems and their lapdogs, the media are screaming ‘espionage” - - all designed to get the headlines and keep people from paying attention to what is in the emails -
Are they really all that dumb or do they just think we all are?
Great piece LoL
Thanks for the link!
everyone should read this so’s they can get their conversation straight when their liberal friends throw it in your face, thinking they’ve “AH Ha” got one on Trump.
Explain it slowly - the emails were already hacked some years ago - and then Hitlery illegally deleted them from her servers - they are NOT THERE to be hacked anymore.
Trump was joking about - if you have ‘em’, share ‘em”
GOT IT, LOL?
