And he said the Democratic Party's other email scandal – 20,000 hacked messages published by WikiLeaks – is the real story. 'They have no idea if it's Russia, if it's China, if it's somebody else. Who knows who it is?' 'But you have 33,000 e-mails deleted. And the real problem is what was said on those e-mails from the Democratic National Committee.'
The email breach has proved an embarrassment to the Democratic National Committee, whose chairwoman announced her resignation this week.
The hacked messages 'talk about religion, they talk about race, they talk about all sorts of things, including women,' Trump vented on Thursday.
'What they said on those emails is a disgrace. It's disgraceful. It's disgraceful. They're just trying to deflect from that.'

This was a risky joke by Donald, but I don’t think it will really damage him. The upside is he has gotten the press to acknowledge Hillary’s 33K emails once again, and he has done this in the middle of their big convention week.

You have to have a little sense of humor to understand what any one is talking about unless they are void of humor.
Never underestimate the recalcitrant stupidity of liberal Democrats. In their zeal to misunderstand conservative principles they consistently misalign every particle of logic and common sense.
Mr. Trump and his team are so smart, they are running rings around Shillary and there lap dogs in the MSM!
And he eats up, gets another day of media coverage in place of the DNC's freak show, rigged coronation of Queen Hildabeast!

I saw nothing wrong in this joke. In fact I thought it was funny. What is really sad is the people who would criticize Trump for making such a comment rather than for Hillary who has exposed classified government information for the sake of maintaining her power base.

The press had been running DNC-provided speculation that "Russia did it" (respecting the DNC emails) as hard news for a couple days. They were primed to see Russia from wherever they were. Oh, and to see a Trump connection to the DNC email leak, too.
So Trump says maybe the 30,000 (private, supposedly not work related at all) e-mails deleted by Hillary can be found by the Russians.
Hillary's camp cries out, "He's calling for espionage of state secrets!"
The best spin Hillary can put on this, once you see the pieces, is that Hillary and the press are stupid beyond your wildest imagination.
At any rate, it was a well-timed tweak. The press was seeing Russians in every shadow, and he hit them directly where their overactive imaginations wanted to be hit.
As a joke or not, the absolutely hysterical reaction of the mediots showed once and for all their fealty to the democRATS, and Killery Clinton in particular.
It wasn’t a joke, it was a direct jab with a small amount of humor. We all know that the Rooskies, Chinese, and anyone else except the U.S Congress, and DOJ/FBI has those 33K emails.
This is uncontested FACT.
It really was an opportunity for Trump to demonstrate once again how corrupt the media has become.
Where’s Hillary’s old “Reset” button? Did the Russians keep it or tell her to take it back home?
The Russia thing has a day or two more, at least, to play out.
This time he took a shiny object fabricated by the press, and dazzled them with their own creation.
