"Former Deputy CIA Director Michael Morell denied Wednesday that there was any cover-up or political influence in messaging after the 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.“We did not deliberately downplay the role of terrorists in the Benghazi attack in our analysis or in the talking points,” Morell said during a House Intelligence Committee hearing.
“And neither I, nor anyone else at the agency, deliberately misled anyone in Congress about any aspect of the tragedy in Benghazi,” Morell added.
Morell spent his life as a trained intelligence operative. One of the things they get is special training in how to lie. It is an interesting course because there are hundreds of way to lie or avoid saying the truth. He was a specialist. Like a leopard he cannot change his spots now.

I am having a difficult time with the crappy job done by thr goody Benghazi committee. They chanced the wrong rabbits and I think they did it on purpose. The elephant in the living room which they either missed or covered up was the purpose for the ambassador being there on 9/11 with no security and 31 cia weapons experts.it has now emerged that we had supplied the al Qaeda affiliate,AQIM with heavy weapons to fight qadaffii and we were trying to get them back!! Where was gowdy on this?

Even worse than wanting to protect the election - it seems the PRINCIPAL reason for standing down - and throwing not just the lives of the 4 who were killed - but the 60 something others - to the wolves, to cover up what that compound was really about - gun running to the terrorists.
What’s a few dozen innocent lives?
The ONLY reason ANY of them got out was that, No, One: the brave men that disobeyed the ‘stand down’ orders - AND, no, Two, some of Qaddafi’s former soldiers help get them away from the compound.
Those survivors, many with serious wounds, were then secreted away by the gov’t - and even the congress and Senate were NOT, against the law, ALLOWED ACCESS.
