1st CD, Republican: Incumbent Paul Ryan, of Janesville, and Paul Nehlen, of Williams Bay.
I absolutely have nothing on this election, so I thought I'd start a thread, and we can add to it as information comes in. Some polls have Ryan way ahead, and a few find it less certain. On the other hand, wasn't this the climate before the Cantor election? He was sitting fat dumb and happy with a big lead in the polls?
If I were a betting man, I'd have to put my money on Ryan and by all counts, he's a very popular guy up there, but then again, so is Obama.
And saw a post earlier where someone called Ryan a “RINO” and then said they would vote for his democratic opponent if he wins. Makes absolutely no sense why someone would cut their nose to spite their face.
A republican who is moderate or liberal is still 1000 times better than a democrat in my book.

The globalist stances of a Cruz/Ryan alliance will not be supported by me. Trump endorsed Ryan upon seeing the writing on the wall that Nehlen would not win. And so he endorsed Ryan to get this globalist shill off his back.

I think like many, they may be “low inforamation” GOP voters—they are still living under the mistaken belief that Paul Ryan is the same man they sent to Congress nearly 20 years ago....Also, talk radio up in Milwaukee is very GOPe...they love Ryan...So talk radio, with help from the Milwaukee newspapers put out some negative pieces on Nehlen and sequestered positive stories about him. Oh and they loved Cruz, too.
From an honorable man who truly loves his country, as opposed to that creature Ryan, whose loyalties go to the highest bidder.

Just like the Cruzers who seem to ignore the ramifications of globalism/illegal immigration, etc., you seem to miss the point that Ryan is CLEARLY representing the globalist interests such as cheap labor, illegal immigration, expanding legal immigration, decriminalizing illegal immigration, and expanding refugee programs as well as global trade proposals. Ryan actually went on some type of multi-stop pro-amnesty tour or campaign with Luis Gutiérrez, whose only interests are related to expanding immigrant rights as he is a pro-amnesty rabid progressive supporter of LaRaza. Ryan and Luis are good friends. People are known by the company they keep...need I say more?!?!
