A coin toss would probably be more accurate.

These over-paid guessers have been wrong since the last active hurricane season in 2005. When every medium TV market has its own meteorologists that give instant local weather alerts, we don’t need the NWS. So they hold on to their paychecks by issuing bogus warnings of looming disasters that rarely happen. When there is a mediocre storm anywhere in the northern hemisphere, it gets a name now, no matter if it is a weak tropical storm that never gets closer than Mexico. The paid government slugs may have to start naming the results of anyone passing gas at the weather bureau.
So.... We’re half way through the Daytona 500, and the oddsmakers are modifying their predictions about the race.
If it happens: Global warming. If it doesn’t happen: Climate change.
They say that every year.
Could happen but we’re already 2-1/2 months into the season and have not even had a tropical storm yet here in Fla.

Here’s a good one. Last night on the local New York suburban news tv station the weather forecaster says that there was a study completed that found that Venus, the planet, could have sustained life an sometime in the distant past. And that it was now 800 degrees and now ould not sustain life.
It had. Evoke 800 degrees because “they created climate change”
He went from a some potential for some kind of life form to and they created global warming.
And the New Yorkers just nod zombie like. They’re quick, friendly, funny, witty and wise they love their opinions even some others’. But they can be so sheep like
Years ago it was shown that these “forecasters” simply guess as to how many hurricanes there will be. They really had no idea, just guesswork.
I’m still waiting for those massive Super hurricanes National Geographic warned us about eleven years ago after Katrina.
It had become 800 degrees Turning off auto spell now if I can figure it out
2012 was like, yesterday, you know?
Same message every year.
They name more storms because they use satellite estimates for strength and even if a storm only reaches 39 mph in one sector of the storm for a couple hours it gets the name. That usually happens once or twice a season.
Absolutely. That way if we get hit with hurricanes, they can brag about how right they were. And if we don't get any, they can say "We're happy to be wrong." It's a no lose position to take.
