I usually get myself up around 5am. This morning my four legged mini-aussie buddy woke me with a gentle request for attention, nosing my hands. Dogs love to be touched.
All three time I e traved to Makne has been in August. The first was when young with family. The second it just happened to fall in August. The third was planned for that time of year because of the humidity here.
Now that school starts in mid August the children are house in air conditioned buildings it’s not too bad.
Yes tomatoes, corn and Melons. We also have wonderful fresh peaches nearby Eating is high on the hog!
Except for the meds, I can relate. Then again, I love early mornings. Often I can get more done before noon than some do all day.
It sounds like you’re on the Trump sleep schedule — up at 4 a.m.!
I’m up at 6 a.m. at the earliest every day, even since retiring in ‘08. Like you, I enjoy the quiet of the morning with my strong black coffee, reading FR.

We have the same trouble here with hot classrooms in the fall. A/C works, sort of, but the top floors are miserable. Kids are very glad to be out of that routine!
We pay for the nice autumns with a short spring, and the addition of a pre-spring mud season that can last a month.
Well church clothes have finished the take the wrinkles out cycle. Go to a very small rural church where we have dress down Sunday every week.
Will drive thru Mc D for a burrito and Iced coffee on way. It’s 62 here. Will be in low 70s when church is over.

My church doesn’t start till 11 so I get to watch the Sunday Talk Shows and then read my scriptures to counter what I just heard.
Sunday school starts before then. I’ll be back by about noon. Was cooler than I thought switched to a long sleeve top.
Don’t forget to pray for Trump Pence and the people of LA and CA. Fire and Water! Also remember the volunteer and particularly Franklin Graham and the Samaritan’s Purse

I have F&F on now. Franklin Graham is going to be on next hour to discuss Baton Rouge and I think they said Trump’s visit.
I think Kellyanne will do well! I’m only going to be able to see her on Fox News Sunday as I have to leave to catch a ferry. I’ll read the SMTS thread to catch up on the others.
Priebus has done fairly well at the rallies, so hope he does well today, too.
It’s not on the SMTS list, but Maria B has a good show on FNC starting at 7 Pacific time. She does a little finance but also usually has some good guests on to discuss politics and other news.
F&F just showed a clip of a black guy in BR asking where are BLM and the Black Panthers and why aren’t they down there helping, passing out water, etc. Apparently BLM was down there the week before the flood.
Coeur d Alene is a beautiful area - stayed there a few times and have been through there many times on the way to Montana.
Ansley just showed a preview of an exclusive interview she did with Mike Pence and his family - going to show the entire interview tomorrow a.m. on F&F.
Gonzaga is a great university - good for your daughter being in her 3rd year of law school!
Maria B’s show coming up on Fox News Channel top of the hour - Newt, Eric Trump, Marsha Blackburn and others will be on - sounds like it might be a good show.
