So destruction of evidence is not illegal because of presumed internal policy? Wow.

There is no evidence the State Department is telling the truth.

“There was no evidence”... do they really think this line holds water with most rational adults? It was requested, it was edited, and it was surely to cover up some very bad act by someone high up enough to have the authority to request the edit. That leaves a very short list of possibilities.

“No Evidence” is classic Clintonspeak.

No “ruling authority” to do anything about it. The neutered Congress doesn’t count.

There we go again...you gotta prove intent. < p>
doesn't the fact that you did it prove some kind of intent?

“The U.S. State Department on Thursday said there is no evidence that a deliberately edited videotape of its Dec. 2, 2013 State Department briefing was intended to conceal information from the public,”
Except for the FACT that the edit concealed information from the public which is evidence in my book.

“no evidence” - that means “we didn’t look very hard, and since we didn’t find anything, we hope you’ll take ‘no evidence’ as meaning it never happened”.....

The Redeye Radio guys said something last week that stuck with me. “Lying to the public is now standard government policy”.

no evidence that a deliberately edited
videotape of its Dec. 2, 2013 State Department briefing 18 minutes of missing White House audio tape from July 18, 1973 was intended to conceal information from the public,
Remember this slight alteration from the story in this thread when speaking with any liberal puke if they defend the State Dept's position.
