The first election I was old enough to be involved with was 1972, and sure enough, McGovern insurgents were sure Nixon was going to cancel the election.
Every so often, some federal agency gets alarmed because there’s no provision or authority for postponing a federal election. The was a big go ‘round in 2004 with Homeland Security and in 2012 there were ‘Directive 51’ claims.
Bottom line is that Dems and RINOs get what they want one way or the other and don’t need elections canceled or postponed.

I understand now that the Iranians harass our boats every day now . Finally instead os standing on the deck and yelling” Please don’t hurt us” ( I guess we would all kneel down with our hands behind our heads) we fired come bottle rockets but that did’t work so we fire 4 bullets into the earths environmental waters ( must be retrieved quickly) . I have a suggestion. Any hostile and armed craft that gets within 1/2 mile of our ships will be totally destroyed as standing policy. DONE!!
