[A]lmost half (48%) of all U.S. consumers believe bar soaps are covered in germs after use, a feeling that is particularly strong among consumers aged 18-24 (60%), as opposed to just 31% of older consumers aged 65+.

You post: “Googling lye soap, one finds that there really was/is a Grandmas Lye Soap. Its in the book!”
I make hand soap at home - gentlest soap ever.
It’s the way they’ve been making it forever - it uses lye.

It is more gentle than Ivory Snow.
Not the way my Aunt made it.
Haha! Me too, but I only use Pinaud Club Man, Lilac Vegetal, Bay Rum. Only place to find it reliably is on Amazon!
Well, it was my first cologne, a Christmas gift from Mom
And I remember she said “wear it sparingly”.
Which I did . .and still do
But I get what you’re saying . . . A cardinal sin is for a guy to wear his pants too short and his cologne too thick
Are you sure they were not referring to Somali millennials?
Too many of the body washes (and even some of the bar soaps) have a lot sketchy chemicals in them. I prefer to pay a couple of bucks more for a bar of old fashioned, all natural, regular soap.
Someone should tell these people too that its healthier to be exposed to low-levels of bacteria, so that the body can build up immunity to them and prevent larger infections down the road. Being continually awash in hard to pronounce chemicals created in some lab is a bigger danger that can strain the body’s detox organs (liver, kidneys, skin, lungs, lymphatic system, etc.).
That’s why they make liquid or bar, so use
what you like and get along little doggies.
Okay, okay, someone has to say it...a little dab’LL do ya. There.
Brylcreen . . .
A little dab’l do ya!
Brylcreem . . .
You’ll look so debonair!
Brylcreen . . .
The gals will all pursue ya!
They love to get their fingers in your hair!!
Oh, I could be anyone I wanted to be
Maybe suave Errol Flynn or the Sheik of Araby
If I only had a pencil thin mustache
Then I could do some cruisin’ too
Yeah, Bryl-cream, a little dab’ll do yah
Oh, I could do some cruisin’ too
-Jimmy Buffet
Just use Apple Cider Vinegar full strength for deodorant.
Cheap and works. I like Bragg’s and ACV from apple orchards.
2 guys I knew at work do not bath regularly . One guy thinks it is ok to exercise before work and not shower and the other says he showers after work but not before coming to work. His hair had some greasy product in it too.
The room would start to stink after an hour. I would open the office door and turn on my fan to push out the smell.
I thought basic hygiene was known by all when you are a kid.
Thank you, but I’d rather put my vinegar on my North Carolina BBQ instead of under my arms...
I’ll stick with Old Spice...:o))
Millennials: the grating-est generation.
#72 Use Bar Keeper’s Friend. Get it at target, grocery store’s or at Amazon. Approx $3 or $4. Instantly gets rid of mineral deposits. Hardly any scent.
I like Dial bar soap (0.50c /bar).
The full jingle: Brylcreem, a little dab’ll do ya; Brycreem, you’ll look so debonair; Bryicreem, the gals will pursue ya; simply rub a little in your hair!
I wore That Man. It didn’t help.
