MSNBC host Alex Witt wanted to play a clip of Hillary Clinton accusing Donald Trump of being a racist, but instead aired a Kentucky Fried Chicken ad.
Witt was talking to Cornell Williams Brooks of the NAACP on Saturday when he teed up a portion of Clinton’s speech.
“As you know, Hillary Clinton says that Trump’s campaign is appealing to a fringe in the Republican Party that is racist. I want to listen to part of her speech with you and get your reaction. So here it is,” Witt said.
Inexplicably, the KFC ad aired with the MSNBC graphics still on the screen.

“I am the extra crispy colonel,” Colonel Sanders actor George Hamilton said in the ad.
“Absolutely not what we were going to play,” Witt said as they moved on...............
On the Fox Five they offered Juan Williams a piece of KFC and he got a really nasty expression. Probably meeting with lawyers today.

He was the best in “Light in the Piazza”—played the Italian love interest to the tee. (Who wouldn’t opposite Yvette Mimieux?).
The best thing about George Hamilton is that he doesn’t take himself too seriously.
I was never a fan of his til “Love at First Bite.”
He was great as the sexy vampire in love w/ Suzan St James.
Some of the movie bits are hysterically funny......his casket delivered by mistake to a black church holding a funeral service. George the vampire sits up in the casket and the parishioners go ballistic.
The minister in that scene is played by “George Jefferson” who tells the family the deceased left HIM his Cadillac.
Ha haaaaa!!!! Gotta love Guccifer’s sense of humor.

I met the Original Colonel back in 1969 in Jacksonville, Ar at the KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN outlet, way before it became “KFC”. He was on his way to Fayetteville Ar to see the big Razorback game between Arkansas and the Longhorns. Texas won.
Nixon was also in the crowd.

Anyone remember when the Colonel Sanders and Minnie Pearl(Grand Ole Opery) were on the same late night talk show cooking fried chicken? Later she started her own fried chicken chain which went belly up.
I remember when he played a “Brilliant” scientist in THE POWER back in 1968.
