Blockchain would solidify our voting process end-to-end. Blockchain involves creation of a universal register that is published and accessible by every node in the chain. This means that at no point could someone change a vote, for instance, without changing it on every single node in the chain. The number of nodes in a chain is so incredibly large that this would prove to be impossible without quantum computing.

This is a great idea. Problem is that we’re too close to the elections to vet this sort of solution.
