No doubt what you are saying is true. The 1965 Act has added to the left’s numbers and makes it more difficult to defeat them.
But.....the ones who really, really confound me and whom I believe are really the problem are the ones who should know better. Almost all of the leftists I know who are voting for Hillary are not, or have been, immigrants. Nor do they fit any of the template of the Hillary voter we imagine (welfare, free stuff, minority, immigrant, etc, etc)
No they have all been born in America, work at jobs (and not a professor though there are those also) either blue or white collar, many are married and/or have kids, have college degrees if not higher, young and old, not minority, etc, etc.
But they have their stupid I’m with Hillary stickers on their cars or Clinton/Kaine signs in their yards. And not only voting for Hillary out of ignorance (though there is a lot of that) but with zeal and will defend her with all their gusto. If most of these idiots wouldn’t vote for Hillary, Trump would probably easily win.
These are the goofball Hillary voters I will never, never understand.

I firmly believe that Trump IS more conservative than ANY of his 17 contenders, my biggest reason for my support is he is NOT bought and paid for, our government has become so corrupt from lobbyist cash and bennies it NEEDS to be blown sky high before we can EVER think of fully restoring our republic!!! Trump spending his OWN money to at least TRY to start to fix our nation shows true LOVE of the nation!!! I don’t think you should hold your nose to vote be VERY thankful he WILL START to right the ship which in all honesty will take at least 3 decades!!! The education system IS the #1 destroyer of this country, SO CALLED journalists are born in this education system!!! Immigration is the #2 destroyer of the country!!!
The last time the Clintons were in power the more dirt that was uncovered the more their ratings went UP among liberals. They are not good people. They are thieves and liars who want a master thieve to steal for them.
To expand on time’s post, one can look at it this way. Man was created to have communion with God, but allowed the freedom of choice.

America was founded by groups of people, who while obviously not perfect, were looking to create a “more perfect union”, where men were free to commune with God as they saw fit, and be free of the oppression of their former masters.
de Tocqueville said that America will be great as long as she is good. Those times are coming, and pretty much have come to an end.
Another wise man said that Democracy is the system of government that ensures that the people will get the government they deserve.
The people of America have become corrupt, and with an ever smaller exception, embrace and rejoice in envy, greed, lust, pride, gluttony, deceit, wrath, the whole 7 yards.
Is it then any surprise that they should support the candidate who is the embodiment of their vices? And should recoil in horror at the prospect of anything else?

In the last 80 years there has been a minor victory under one president. The rest of the time it has been the left moving their agenda forward with only the speed of their progress varying. It is not a matter of if, but when.

I’ve been saying it for 15+ years, when I became acquainted with Cynthia McKinney and her antics as the Congressional rep for the GA 4th District.
As I said at the time, what scares me is not that a Cynthia McKinney exists - it is that there is a Congressional District worth of people who will continually vote her into office.
That District is now held by Hank “Guam tipping” Johnson.
And of course since then, the entire country voted in Obama twice.
