I think Kaine would become the candidate, yes?

They might pull some weird switcheroo where Kaine does all the campaigning and debating going forward. They won’t say she’s dropping out, withdraw her name from ballots, or anything that would actually pull her out of the race. But they might fuel the idea so that people are left with the impression that they’re voting for Kaine to be President and not Hillary on November 8.

Kaine wasn’t voted on, in the primaries, by the voters. Second place Dem nominee is Bernie.

Not sure what the DNC rules are. They’re prolly updating them, as I type :)

No. Tim Kaine didn’t run in the primary, nor did he receive a single vote to become the Dem nominee. He’s only just now running for the office of VP.

Bernie would replace Hillary as nominee if she’s forced out of the race.
