I will be voting against Cruz when he is up for re-election in two years.

When Kapernik’s fans attack an American, I’m blaming your irresponsible rhetoric Teddy Bear.

I’m still waiting for the man I voted for in the primary to support, indeed campaign for and with, the nominee.

Anyone reading this who is personally acquainted with the gentleman, kindly bring this comment and request to his attention.

Those “rich spoiled athletes” didn’t try and usurp the presidency like the Cubanadian Ted Cruz did. Those football players are ignorant fools, but Ted Cruz is a traitor to our Constitution.

“We shouldn’t blame Cruz for being bitter”

You’re right, we should blame him for running knowing he was not a natural born citizen. You cannot love this country and its constitution while running for POTUS when ineligible.

I can’t see myself voting in 2018 to re-nominate TCruz unless he is in a runoff with George P. Bush. Then again, George P. has endorsed Trump. Strange outcome possible

The real story is how the NFL has no problem with its employees sticking their collective thumb in the eye of the customer re the flag and the national

Maybe they will change their tune, when it starts affecting their bottom line.

“Ted signed the agreement BEFORE Trump started calling Lyin’ Ted hundreds of times. Personally I believe Trump could have won without all the name calling.

We shouldn’t blame Cruz for being bitter. He fought a good fight and simply came up short.

Cruz has been a good effective conservative voice in the Senate. And barring a promotion to the SCOTUS we should keep him there for many years.”

I don’t blame Cruz for being bitter. I don’t blame him for loathing Trump. Politics is a rough sport but there are (or should be) limits. Things were said that it would take a saint to let pass.

What I DO blame him for, is accepting an invitation to speak at his party’s national convention, on prime time TV, and then pointedly dissing the candidate of his party. If he had kept his mouth shut and stayed away from the convention I really doubt many people would have held it against him. But what he did AT THE CONVENTION was a deliberate and calculated act of political treachery. If was damned dishonorable.

I say this as someone who is not a Trump fan and who has tried to stay clear of the Trump related threads out of deference to JimRobs request that people who could not get on board with Donald keep their mouths shut or go elsewhere until after the election. But if Ted Cruz were on fire, I wouldn’t piss on him.

Tead is pretty good at destroying.

He’s already destroyed himself, and now he’s heading for destroying the nation by refusing to endorse hILLary’s adversary.

This jackass doesn’t get it on any level.

What good is his criticism, now that he has revealed himself to be what he is?

You will get flamed for voicing any support for Cruz here on FR.
That is a pity because he was the only disciplined conservative in the senate for a few years.
Is Ted perfect?
NO.
Is perfect required?
Apparently.
Talk to me about that a year from now...three years from now...

One doesn’t cancel the other...its not that the atheletes or rich its that they are dishonoring so much they dont even know about

and they did squat in their protest....let them all pull together millions of dollars and personally take them to the families in Chicago that are really hurting from the murders that have happened to their families.

After being called a deplorable by someone who doesnt even know my life moved by protests that are the latest cool things to do.

The only thing the Clintons and their heartless supporters have on me and those that support Trump, is they could care less about humanity and they are uber rich.

From now on I dont even talk NFL.

It’s far more than imperfect to knowingly run for a office that requires a natural born citizen when you know you are not one.

He knew his dad was not a US citizen until he was an adult, he knew he was born in Canada.

He saw the Kenyanesian get by with not being anatural born citizen and figured he would, too.

A truly principled person would have been using his own example to explain why the Kenyanesian Usurper is an usurper.

Yup,

Ted Cruz proved he is all about Ted Cruz, that is the cause he really cares about. Right now he is trying to get back into the good graces of conservative folks by doing the old politician stick of attacking obvious targets.

Thing is though...he ain’t trying to get the never-trumpers on board with voting for Trump. He wants trump to lose so He can run again in 4 years. So as far as I am concerned, no vote for ted Cruz ever again should he try for national office. He is a self-serving worm and should never be elected to any office again.

A honor-less guy like Cruz has destroyed his reputation to the point anything he says is irrelevant to me.
