Scott Adams writes in a rational world, people go along with the facts and an objective evaluation of reality before arriving at a decision.
In reality, people are swayed far more by their feelings and going along with the flow in making a decision.
The latter favors Trump.
I hate to say it, but Scott Adams writes for a nation with the mindset of engineers, when actually we have a nation with the mindset of sociology majors.
His blogs are generally good and thought provoking. This time he pout out something that is weak and boring.
Remember his prediction that Trump's VP pick would be Scott Brown? Whatever happened on that one.
Adams is trying to sell his book. And in that sound a lot like Dick Morris.
This is not a normal election.
To have said three years ago that Jeb Bush was not going to win a single victory in the primary would have shocked everyone. To have the Cuban brothers (Cruz and Rubio) fall by the wayside in the manner that they did....was totally unexpected. For Trump to just keep saying things that would typically get Republicans in trouble but it kept working....is a shock.
To look at the 20-odd mistakes that Hillary has made and realize that she really can’t come back now. It’s all a surprise.
In a rational world....you want to find simple basic facts which don’t fall apart, and Trump has produced at least a dozen of such facts. Hillary? Just about everything presented so far....falls apart.
If you have been following Adam’s and his analysis he has stated consistently that people make most decisions based on irrationality rather than logic and facts.
What you say is true, and rather ironic, considering Adams is a cartoonist!
