Unsettling footage obtained by NBC News shows the moments leading up to the fatal police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The video, taken by Scott's wife, does not clearly show the exact moment he was shot by police on Tuesday. Scott is seen on the ground surrounded by police officers moments after the shots were fired. "He better not be f---ing dead, he better not be f---ing dead," Rakeyia Scott can be heard shouting at the officers. "He better live, he better live!" It is not clear what preceded the shooting.
The killing of Scott, 43, sparked three nights of fiery protests and violent clashes between protesters and law enforcement. Activists and the Scott family have pressed city officials to release bodycam or dashcam footage of the fatal encounter.
The wife needs to be charged.
And .. the forensic tests of the “weapon” - which is clearly visible in the video - while the wife was swearing her husband didn’t have one; was found to have Scott’s blood and his fingerprints.
SOOOOOO .. THERE WAS A WEAPON .. AND THE FORENSICS PROVE HE HELD IT AND HIS BLOOD WAS ON IT INDICATING HE PROBABLY HAD IT IN HIS HAND WHEN HE WAS SHOT.
CASE OVER !!!!!!!

The Police, highly charged, stressed beyond measure, trying to weigh the threat, hear his wife saying “Keith, Keith, Don’t you do it”...
She was not only a distraction but she was also someone putting in the mind of the officers the reasonable apprehension of imminent bodily harm. [Don’t do what?]
That said, she certainly did not want her Husband shot. It is a travesty. Prayers for him, hers, and theirs.

Well .. as an Old Pro .. you’re exactly correct.
Now, one second later, at 1:42, there is a gun lying on the street about 1 foot from the white shoe of the policeman. The man in the red shirt and his shadow do not appear to have moved. The video before 1:41 also didn't show a gun in that location on the street. I think a frame by frame investigation of this one second would be helpful.
Bet she called her lawyer within 10 minutes to instigate suit!

A former ATF agent said earlier if you look at the policeman in red, he is standing on the gun to preserve the evidence. At one point he moves but left foot stays in place like it’s in concrete. Later when police tape is put up, you can see the gun.

I agree it’s an odd response to a traumatic event.
She was taunting/threatening at a moment you’d think other emotions would be present, like concern for your husband.
