Fernando Machado and Diane Rodriguez have become a father and mother after Fernando, who was born Maria, gave birth to a healthy baby.
Neither he nor Diane, who used to be a man, has undergone gender reassignment surgery, meaning they were able to conceive.
Fernando told the BBC about his range of emotions when they found out about the pregnancy.
Diane added: ‘Being a mother was never something I thought I would do because I am a transsexual.’
Last year, the Mirror reported that the pair met via social media, and Fernando moved to Ecuador from Venezuela to be with Diane.
The new parents have started an awareness campaign for LGBT rights since the baby’s birth.
So, IOW, a biological woman gave birth to a baby, being impregnated by a biological man.
Will scientific wonders never cease?...............
So, when all the dressing up is over, they are just another heterosexual couple? I guess clothes don’t make (unmake?) the man. They must be so disappointed!
Crazy men and crazy women belong together. In this case, they are both under delusions about their bodies. Reality triumphs though, so they had a baby in the usual way.
Is the child a mule or hermaphrodite??

That’s pretty much it. I remember the first time I read about something like this happening, and I had trouble getting my mind around it. Then I figured out that it was just a regular, but confused, man and woman having a child.
So a woman pretending to be a man got pregnant by a man pretending to be a woman.
Just.. no.
Cosplay gone too far.

You mean you can't change your sex. Gender is for nouns. You are supporting them, if you use their language.

A man screwed a woman, resulting in a baby. Yes, it is a miracle, but it is a rather commonplace one (7.3 billion of us attest to that). All the rest is bunk. These people are out to make money, mark my words.
That's my concern as well, even if the hormones were discontinued prior to conception.

My niece talks about cosplay and the word as well as the concept bothers me. Feels as if they’re being primed to accept being something other than what they are.
Right on the money! The woman is still a woman but pretends she's a man, the man is still a man but pretends he's a woman....
And both freaks enjoy the genitalia that the other has to offer...........Not that that's a bad thing.

A mentally ill man and woman have a baby. The only reason it is noteworthy is that the mother thinks she a father and the father says he’s a mother.
