Shortened title.

Full title: Glenn Beck ‘Profoundly Sad’ After Cruz Endorses Trump: ‘Maybe It Is Time to Go to the Mountains for a While’

The Blaze founder Glenn Beck has weighed in on Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s endorsement of Republican nominee Donald Trump, writing that “[d]isappointment does not begin to describe” his feelings about Cruz’s endorsement of his former primary rival. Beck posted the following to his Facebook page:

Profoundly sad day for me.

Disappointment does not begin to describe.

Maybe it is time to go to the mountains for a while. (Read below and notice the knives prodding that direction) Again, disappointment doesn’t begin to describe my feelings.

Beck is such a drama queen. He and Shep Smith should get together.

Blenn Dreck is on the sauce again. Steve Deace is also in mourning. They are both nutcases.

Beck, Cruz, and all of their very few supporters need intervention and committing.

No way that Hillary Clinton is anything other than an absolute tragedy for this country. Beck is either nuts or a traitor. Maybe both.

Glenn, may I suggest taking the Brokeback Mountain tour with John Kasich. You two could greatly comfort each other.

Is the looney bin in the mountains?

No, it's on an island. All alone.

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

...Meanwhile Trump's speech, helped perhaps by some magic of the Deplorables, was having just the effect he intended.

A good many who had been anxious enough to get out of the Trumpslide felt quite differently about being left out of it. And of course whenever any one #NeverTrumper announced that he had made up his mind to ask for permission to vote for The Donald, the ones who hadn't said this felt that they were getting fewer and more uncomfortable.

So that before the debates with Hillary had begun several people were positively "sucking up" to the Alt-Right and Reince (at least that what what they called it in my state) to get a good report. And soon there were only three left who didn't want to vote Trump, and those three were trying very hard to persuade others to vote with them. And very shortly after that there was only one left. And in the end he began to be afraid of being left behind all on his own and changed his mind.

Cruz’s biggest mistake, IMHO, was hitching his wagon to the insane Beck. I believe it caused Cruz to make terrible decisions.

Beck should spare "the mountains" for those fleeing the problems he helped cause. He should go back and live on the border to face those problem:
