The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

My wife was trying to watch it, but it kept freezing. I was just getting the blow by blow here. I couldn’t stand listening to either of them.
For me, trump is like Ann Coulter in this way: I love her books but I hate her live appearances. For me, he really does come off as an aristocrat blowhard in live debates. But that is just my commentary on how he “sounds”.
I like the rest of the package. Hopefully that’s enough.
I really liked his speeches after mexico. It was the first time he really SOUNDED presidential to me.
Okay, he didn’t do as well. Look at who he is and that is not a politician. Gingrich was right, let Trump be Trump as it is what got him this far. If he was a politician, he got creamed. He isn’t. He is Trump and by God it’s working. Luntz and his focus groups are giving him the win with Independts.
I agree with most of your points Laz except there are some points he needs to repeat more often. On the Iran deal it is good if he can say “billions of our money going to an enemy terrorist regime who are now even closer to nuclear weapons.” He has to say it emphatically and slowly and repeat it.
He has to repeat that Hillary has zero standing on cyber security issues when lower personnel have gone to prison for what she did with classified information.

Yes, I’ve been following that. I think he will continue to expand his lead. Sadly, it looks like they have her physical condition in check. I’m hoping they can’t keep it up.

That's certainly true and has been for each debate. Trump manages to win, or not lose, because he simply promotes the issues that many patriotic Americans have been concerned about for years.
I don't think Hillary gained much, if anything, from tonight because it was obvious that there was collusion between her campaign and Lester Holt. Holt brought up every negative meme the Dims have been trying to hang on Trump the past several weeks.
Holt said she sounded like a newspaper article according to my mom who was watching Univision
