Moderator for the debate is Lester Holt, the anchor of the NBC Nightly News

The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

Trump will be on the left as you look at it. (Stage right) the podium is placed at an angle not parallel to the front of the stage as Hillary’s. That angle will make Trump appear smaller to the audience in the auditorium.

This is what I told a friend about how the debate will go:

I expect that Trump will have some audacious truths to say and be more than willing to strongly imply, if not state, Hillary's involvement with her husband's philandering. He will nail her with being 0bama’s third term of failure. He will talk to policies he's already stated publicly and continually correct her “corrections.” He will also connect with Bernie supporters about their dislike of the status quo.

It will be the first time a large amount of Democrats will hear the truth about Hillary, 0bama, and Trump, with Trump getting converts and Hillary losing supporters. The media has built up Hillary into some kind of genius, which, with her Parkinson's and other issues and her lack of control over Trump, will make her look pretty stupid.

Trump will speak in generalities and Hillary will speak to specifics, but all of her prior specifics were bad in the 0bama Administration, while, strangely, she can't remember any specifics about her criminal behaviors. He will play this up.

Kellyanne is 100% correct on saying these twitter post from reporters are following Trump and lying about their reports. You-all see this in what I post here. Above Liz and Monica and many others are just posting ads and lovefest for Hillary. Then they lie about the crowd sizes.

I can't recall her ever posting crowd size at Trump rallies. Reporting that only half of the arena is full. Ali is retweeting this instead of taking a picture herself while she is there working.

Amazon seems to have deleted the 1200 hilarious reviews - I read them last week. There are, however, 12 new reviews along the same lines. Honestly, they’re going to have to shut down the comment section if they’re going to try and sell this book.

How Clinton, Trump are preparing for debates 5:29 Debate officials have released the details of Monday night's presidential debate between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump.

The first debate of the election season will be moderated by NBC News' Lester Holt at Hofstra University in Hempstead New York.*********

Clinton's podium will be stage left and Trump's podium will be stage right, the CPD said.

Clinton will receive the first question. She will have two minutes to answer and Trump will have two minutes to respond.

That will be followed by 10 minutes of open conversation and debate.******

Some of the rules were made by agreement between the campaigns and some were decided by coin toss — but CPD wouldn't say which ones.****

The debate will be held before an audience of 1,000 viewers in the hall. The three largest ticket blocks are going to the two campaigns and Hofstra. The university said they are giving all of their tickets to students, which they say they also did in 2008 and 2012.
