NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – A Black Lives Matter-aligned organization called ‘Take ‘Em Down Nola’ stormed New Orleans’ Andrew Jackson monument demanding all monuments related to the Civil War come down across the city. The monument which sits at the heart of the city’s historic French Quarter. Chanting “No justice, no peace” and “F*ck the police,” the group of protesters took issue with barricades and police guarding the iconic Jackson Square monument as a few members of Take ‘Em Down Nola immediately tried to jump the barriers, but were quickly apprehended by New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) officers.

The protests, for the most part, remained peaceful, though a number of protesters threw red paint-filled balloons at officers as well as their vehicles. At least one altercation took place, resulting in the arrest of a protester.

"One of the “tells” here is that the fedgov has NOT enforced existing on-the-books anti-riot laws, such as traveling interstate to instigate or take part in riots.

This is a signal to BLM, RevCom etc. to go for it.

If every out-of-stater arrested in Charlotte had big federal charges stacked on top of the local charges, the fun would go out of it."

Excellent point and worth repeating. There are laws against interstate travel for the purposes of civil insurrection.

People merely need to read the following federal law: 18 U.S. Code § 2101 - Riots

(a) Whoever travels in interstate or foreign commerce or uses any facility of interstate or foreign commerce, including, but not limited to, the mail, telegraph, telephone, radio, or television, with intent— (1) to incite a riot; or

(2) to organize, promote, encourage, participate in, or carry on a riot; or

(3) to commit any act of violence in furtherance of a riot; or

(4) to aid or abet any person in inciting or participating in or carrying on a riot or committing any act of violence in furtherance of a riot;

and who either during the course of any such travel or use or thereafter performs or attempts to perform any other overt act for any purpose specified in subparagraph (A), (B), (C), or (D) of this paragraph— [1]

Shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

>>Old Hickory sent them packing with their tails between their legs (and the body of the Admiral of the British Fleet in a barrel, pickled).<<

NICE!

Actually for these and other reasons (e.g., taking on the proto-FED and getting USA completely out of debt!!) I was disappointed that the movie, “Hillary’s America,” made Jackson a villain. In my opinion, he was one of the greatest American leaders of all time.

It would be a TRAGEDY if they are allowed to take down the Jackson statue. Next they’ll be coming after the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial etc.

WE MUST DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND!

Know this has been said before, but there is precious little food in the urban ring. A week at most, maybe another week with door to door scavenging.

They the ferals will turn their attention to the suburban rings. How successful they will be will be determined on how prepared materially and mentally suburbanites and rural dwellers are.

You have to be prepared to box them back up in the urban confines and then dictate terms.

And tell the UN there will be no airlifts.

Jackson was instrumental in beating back the Klingons in the battle of Wolf 359.

Everybody is focusing n the wrong issue, the “mistake” of saying civil war. They are gong after Andrew Jackson because he owned slaves. Make a list of the founding fathers and leaders till 1860 and see how many owned slaves.

This BS will continue unless we get black leaders to not see the slavery. but the abolition of slavery with the war. How many countries did what we did to abolish savory and set up equal rights. That’s where the influence has to be.

White people can yell all they want and this crap will continue. Look at the list and be ready for all of them to be attacked in one way or another.

These people will never put themselves out of business.

LOL! I/we lived in the area from NOLA to Slidell to Waveland to Kiln on and off from ‘68-’86 but mostly on. It can be a strange and wonderous place. Love the food and a lot of the people. Hated the humidity and wasn’t too fond of the nasty parts of town which are plenty. It’s only gotten worse over the years. Dem control.

We lived West Bank about 5 years and NOLA (Canal Street for a Year ... that sucked!) couple 2-3 years in Chalmette/Arabi (best of the three places)
In those 10+ years I drove through the French Quarter almost daily and NEVER thought it might be a place to go at night...
You get relatives that want to go... I make them park “Their” vehicles across the River in a lighted Parking lot, take the Ferry both ways if necessary and we would have a 10PM Curfew, or they can go on their own and I don’t care.
Never once went to Marti Gras in New Orleans.
I was in the Military at that time and made lots of money standing duty for the young single guys that wanted to go.

The Food was awesome in Louisiana (especially the sandwiches at Little Arabi Store) I have yet to taste a better bread (Stateside) than fresh Zip French Bread and the folks over in Chalmette were some of my favorite neighbors ever in my life. I did like Chalmette, it was wrong of me to paint them in with the broad New Orleans Brush

Roger that. I first went there in ‘68 and was at Algiers Naval Station and my dad was the CO at the Navy Supply Depot across the river on Dauphine street. My folks lived out near Michoud first then got a house in Belle Chase. Met my first wife in the area so when I got out of the Navy we ended up in the area but never in New Orleans although I did work a lot of different jobs in town. I’m sure you met a lot of folks that will NEVER leave no matter what. Guess it’s a NOLA thing. And yes, we know some “Chalmations” too.

Sick of these people.

May as well get use to it. After the election, no matter who wins, we will see a lot more of them whether they want to or not.

If Hillary wins it will be like a green light to them for abuse of “whitey”. If Trump wins whites will have no reason not to declare open season on these “naggers”.
